The room matched the photos perfectly: clean, well-organized, and just the right size for one person, or even two if you're traveling together. It’s comfortably spacious without feeling empty. I stayed at The Tango Hotel Taipei Nanshi back in 2023 and found the hallway and room lighting quite dim, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised when I returned in December 2025—everything had been completely refreshed! I asked the housekeeping staff and learned the hotel had undergone a full renovation, especially improving lighting throughout the corridors and rooms. The difference was remarkable—the space now feels bright, clean, and welcoming. The room was spotless, with excellent attention to hygiene. Even though it’s a windowless room, there was no stuffiness or unpleasant odor, making it very comfortable to stay in. Breakfast was satisfying and well-prepared, though I noticed it didn’t include natto, unlike some other Tango properties. Still, overall, the upgrade in ambiance, cleanliness, and service makes this a standout choice. Great location, excellent value, and a truly enjoyable stay—I’d definitely come back.

After staying in Chinese hotels with robot room service, I assumed that just answering the phone would trigger breakfast delivery. Turns out, you actually need to say a few words—lesson learned! One small note: the bathtub was quite slippery, and I ended up taking a fall. Definitely hope they can add some anti-slip measures soon. Overall, though, an excellent stay with great convenience and warm hospitality.
