I stayed here for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a restful sleep. Its location is excellent; just a short walk from the metro station, so getting around Madrid is super convenient. Whether you're visiting museums, shopping, or exploring the city center, everything is within easy reach. I also appreciated having a vending machine in the room—perfect for late-night snacks or drinks without needing to leave. Great value for money and ideal for students or short-term travelers. I’d definitely stay here again.

The overall experience was excellent—great location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The only hiccup happened the day before check-out when I booked a taxi for 5:45 AM to the airport. Unfortunately, the front desk agent mistakenly wrote it down as 4:45 AM. We arrived right on time, waited about ten minutes, and only then did someone come out—no taxi in sight. It was a bit stressful at the moment, but luckily we had allowed enough buffer time and managed to catch our flight without any issues. A small reminder to improve shift handovers and accuracy in booking details. Otherwise, this place is highly recommended for its value, convenience, and warm hospitality.

Ilunion Pio XII
The Ilunion Pio XII hotel offers a clean, well-maintained environment and a solid breakfast selection—both are definitely highlights. That said, the location is quite far from the city center and main attractions. If you're only staying for one or two nights, it might be better to choose a place closer to the action. The good news? Bus line 150 stops right outside the hotel and goes directly to Puerta del Sol with no transfers, making public transit a convenient option. Just keep in mind that taxis in Madrid are extremely expensive—my ride from the hotel to the city center cost over €30, which isn’t ideal for short stays. Overall, this hotel works better for longer visits when you’re looking to save on transport costs and don’t mind a bit of distance. For travelers prioritizing convenience and budget, especially those planning to explore on foot or by bus, this place offers great value.
