The pastries are delicious, and the chicken soup wontons as well as the pork-filled dumplings are seriously satisfying. I was originally booked into a room type that wasn’t available yet, but the team kindly upgraded me to a Premium Suite—huge upgrade in space, view, and design. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered fresh fruit platters after my concert, and they arrived at my door in no time. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout was top-notch. Even at check-out, they handed me a lovely souvenir—a large record-shaped biscuit box that’s both cute and tasty. If there’s another concert in town, this will be my go-to hotel again.

Our room on the 16th floor was spacious and well-designed with a business-friendly vibe—comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep, and a bathroom with clear separation between wet and dry areas, plus a relaxing bathtub. Since we had a late checkout due to the event, we were pleasantly surprised to get complimentary parking—no extra hassle. Breakfast and lunch were both enjoyed at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and consistent quality, while lunch was equally satisfying. Everything was smooth, convenient, and genuinely enjoyable. I stayed at Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Caobao Road Metro Station, and unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. The elevator was out of order, so I had to climb up to the third floor—very inconvenient, especially with luggage. Upon entering the room, I noticed a noticeable dip in the floor right by the door, nearly causing me to trip. The toilet lid was broken and wouldn’t snap back into place, which was quite frustrating. While there was no water outage during my stay, the shower pressure was extremely low—hardly any hot water flow. After checking other reviews, I saw multiple guests mentioning similar issues, confirming that these aren’t isolated incidents. The room condition and maintenance clearly need improvement. Despite being near the metro station, the overall value for money isn’t great. I’d recommend the hotel to reconsider its upkeep and guest experience.

With its excellent location, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful service, this place offers incredible value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

The room itself is spacious and well-designed, with modern furnishings and everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Location-wise, it’s perfect — right in the heart of Xujiahui, just steps from a big shopping mall and two authentic local Shanghainese restaurants. I had a delicious meal at one of them, and the food was so good I could’ve stayed there all night!
