Staying at Kindness Hotel Sandou in Kaohsiung was a highlight of my trip! I highly recommend this location if you're visiting the city—especially because it offers late-night dining options. I had dinner right at the hotel and enjoyed their fresh boiled meat sauce rice noodles and hot dishes, all very authentic and delicious. The sweet bean curd dessert was a perfect ending to the meal. Just steps away is a lively night market with affordable street food—perfect for casual browsing and eating until you're full. While the room is modest in size, the classic decor is clean and cozy, making it feel welcoming. Breakfast included freshly made egg pancakes and radish cake—warm, tasty, and satisfying. There's also an in-house self-service coffee and tea station with free ice cream, which was a nice touch. The staff are friendly and attentive throughout the stay. With great value, convenient location, and warm hospitality, I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit to Kaohsiung.

My stay at Kindness Hotel - Houyi Jiuru in Kaohsiung was a really positive experience overall. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient—check-in went smoothly without any waiting time. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and just the right amount of support from the mattress and pillows—perfect for a good night's sleep. Common areas were well-maintained too; there was no unpleasant smell in the hallways, and the whole space felt thoughtfully kept. Breakfast wasn’t overly large in variety, but the food tasted fresh and well-prepared, and staff refilled items quickly. Everything you’d expect was available. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—lots of dining options nearby and easy access to public transport, so getting around didn’t feel stressful at all. The only minor downside was the room soundproofing—some noise from adjacent rooms could be heard if someone was talking loudly or moving around, but it wasn’t disruptive enough to affect rest. All things considered, this was a highly satisfying stay with great value for money. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Staying at Kindness Hotel Zhong Shan Bade in Kaohsiung was an absolute delight! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from both the Kaohsiung Railway Station and the beautiful Meilidao MRT Station, making it super convenient for getting around the city. I was also thrilled to be so close to the famous Liucheng Night Market—perfect for grabbing some local street food after a long day of exploring. What really stood out was the included breakfast—fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. We recently visited Kaohsiung with our family and stayed at Kindness Hotel Qixian Kaohsiung—what a fantastic experience! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the lively Liuhe Night Market, making dining and exploring super easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke English fluently, which made communication smooth and stress-free. Breakfast and late-night snack options nearby were a big plus—always handy when you're on the go. The only minor downside was the room soundproofing; we could occasionally hear noises from neighboring rooms. That said, it’s a small trade-off for such a well-located, clean, and welcoming hotel. Overall, this place offers excellent value and a memorable stay—definitely recommend it!

Staying at Kindness Hotel (Kaohsiung Station) was an absolute pleasure. The location is unbeatable—right outside Kaohsiung Train Station, making it super easy to access whether you're arriving by rail or just exploring the city on foot. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help with any request. I especially appreciated how warm and genuine they were. On the first floor, there’s a cozy little coffee corner where they offer free ice cream—my kids went wild for it, and it was such a sweet little touch. The room itself was spotless, well-organized, and had a comfortable mattress that made for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast options weren’t extensive, but the quality was solid and fair for what was offered—plus, everything was included at no extra cost, so no need to upgrade. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Great value, excellent service, and a homey vibe. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

I've stayed at several Kindness Hotel locations, but this one in Kaohsiung's Guang Rong Pier area truly stood out. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out—always with a smile. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt fresh and inviting. What really impressed me was the location: just a short walk to the light rail station and YouBike docking point, making it super easy to explore the city without needing a car. Nearby, you'll find a 7-Eleven, local noodle shops, and affordable bento boxes—perfect for late-night cravings or quick meals. It’s also within walking distance to attractions like Pier-2 Art District and Hama-Xing, ideal for culture lovers and casual sightseers. The only minor downside is that the late-night snack options are limited, and breakfast is standard—not fancy, but sufficient. Still, considering the comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable location, this hotel offers excellent value. If you're looking for a quiet, convenient base in Kaohsiung with a genuine local vibe, this is a top pick.

Staying at Kindness Hotel (Kaohsiung Hanshen) was a fantastic experience! The location is excellent—just a short walk to Hanshin Mall and right next to Central Park, perfect for a morning or evening stroll. The staff were incredibly friendly and even reached out after booking to confirm details, which showed great attention to care. On the ground floor, there’s a complimentary refreshment area with coffee, ice cream, and small snacks—such a nice touch when you’re on the go. Clean rooms, quiet surroundings, and great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

Staying at Kindness Hotel Liuhe Night Market Jhong Jheng in Kaohsiung was an absolute highlight of my trip! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—my room was upgraded upon arrival, which was such a nice surprise. The room itself was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. I especially loved the front desk staff—the lady there was not only stunning but also so warm and helpful with every request. While the self-service breakfast options were a bit basic and on the lighter side, the coffee and ice cream were excellent, and the croissant with maple syrup? Pure heaven. It’s perfect for travelers who want a quiet, comfortable stay close to the lively Liuhe Night Market. Great value, great location, and unforgettable service—I’d definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

This business hotel in Kaohsiung is an absolute steal! Located just a short walk from the metro station, it's super convenient for getting around the city. The room was small but spotlessly clean, with all the essentials you'd need—plus free Wi-Fi, which is always a plus. What really stood out was the incredible value: affordable rates without sacrificing comfort or cleanliness. Booking was quick and easy through the platform—no hassle at all. Whether you're here for work or just exploring, this place offers great convenience and peace of mind. If you're looking for a no-fuss, budget-friendly stay in Kaohsiung, don't miss this one. Seriously, if it's available, book it now—it won’t last long!

I stayed at Ling Inn in Kaohsiung, and overall, the experience was just average. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the metro station, which is great for exploring the city. However, the room is on the second floor of a corrugated metal building, giving it a somewhat basic and dated feel. The main issue was the hot water—while it heated up quickly, it ran out within minutes and the flow was quite weak, making showering a bit frustrating. I also noticed some cleanliness concerns: there were visible dust marks on the desk and bathroom counter, and the shower floor still had damp spots after use. It’s clear that housekeeping could use more attention. While this place might work for budget travelers who don’t mind simplicity, those looking for comfort and better hygiene should consider other options. Not bad for the price, but definitely not memorable.

The room was surprisingly spacious with a ceiling height of over 6 meters, giving it an airy and luxurious feel. The twin room featured a beautifully detailed oil painting on the wall beside the nightstand—though some paint had slightly chipped over time, it only added character and depth to the vintage ambiance. The interior design truly embraced a classic old-money aesthetic, with subtle touches like a hanging closet rack secured by a metal ring on the beam, where the hanger itself could be detached using a nail-secured clip. It’s these small details that made the space feel so unique and authentic. A large bathtub completed the room—a true nod to Japanese-inspired relaxation. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the ferry terminal, surrounded by local eateries, boutiques, and convenience stores. Within about 20 minutes on foot, you’ll find a large supermarket for all your essentials. But the real highlight? The breakfast. A fantastic mix of Chinese and Western options—handmade buns with coconut filling, black sesame, red bean paste, warm soy milk, sweet potato porridge, plus fresh breads and pastries. I especially loved the seaweed soup with vegetarian meat and bamboo shoots—it was hands-down the best Chinese breakfast I’ve had in Taiwan. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully curated. If you’re looking for a memorable, well-located, and uniquely styled hotel experience in Kaohsiung, this is a must-visit.

We booked Katherine Plaza Hotel for a family trip and arrived around 5 PM. The front desk staff were very welcoming, clearly explained room details, and provided all the necessary info about meal times—great service right from the start. Walking into the room, we were immediately impressed by the clean environment; the walls looked freshly renovated, and the overall vibe felt cozy and homely—like staying at grandma’s place. One small downside: some TV channels had poor signal quality, and the programming leaned heavily toward K-dramas, sports, and movies. Also, the lighting in the room wasn’t bright enough when watching TV. The bathroom is spacious, but lacks proper wet/dry separation—adding a shower curtain would definitely improve safety and convenience. Breakfast was a highlight: generous and varied, with fresh stir-fried dishes, side pickles for congee, toast, buns, steamed bread, and more—perfect for starting the day on a full note. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just steps away from Central Park, Dali Department Store, Hanshin Mall, and within walking distance to Music & Pop Culture Hall and Zhuangzhi (Dabu) Art District. There are countless restaurants nearby, so dining options are endless. If we ever come back to Kaohsiung, this hotel will be our top choice. Thanks to the team for such a warm and thoughtful stay!
