Staying at S-aura Hotel in Taipei was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment you step into the lobby, the warm wood tones and lush greenery create a calming, inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The room itself is spacious with soft, neutral tones and excellent natural lighting—plus, the view of shifting greenery outside the window adds a peaceful touch to the journey. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep without any hassle. The bathroom was clean, bright, and well-appointed, making every morning routine feel relaxing and effortless. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated—just a short walk to great dining spots and local shops, ideal for casual meals or a quiet evening stroll. Breakfast was simple but thoughtful, with homemade-style flavors that felt genuinely comforting and satisfying. Overall, this hotel strikes the perfect balance between tranquility, comfort, and genuine hospitality. It’s not just a place to stay—it feels like a true retreat. I’d absolutely come back without hesitation.

Charming City Songshan Hotel

Back from Turkey, I decided to extend my trip by two days and spend some time exploring Taipei—this area in particular, which I haven’t visited in nearly a decade. The changes are remarkable; it’s almost like visiting a different hometown now. Progress is everywhere—just wondering if Taiwan is moving forward too? 😉 Charming City Songshan Hotel impressed me with its clean and well-maintained rooms. The ground-floor café is a real plus—it’s perfect for staying put for hours with unlimited coffee. Breakfast options are also available for takeaway, which is convenient for early mornings. The only downside? The view of Taipei 101 from the window is beautiful, but the glass is covered in thick dust, so taking any decent photo was impossible. 😓 Still, this hotel offers great value, excellent location, and easy access to public transport. If you’re looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay while soaking up the city’s evolving vibe, this is a solid choice.

Alper Motel

The location is incredibly convenient—just a 3-minute walk from the MRT station, making it super easy to get to concerts or explore the lively Raohe Night Market. There are plenty of great dining options nearby, so you’re never far from a good meal. The staff are friendly and courteous, always ready to help. The room itself is spotless and comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The jacuzzi tub is spacious, and the steam room made for a truly relaxing experience after a long day. Breakfast is served as a set menu with both Chinese and Western options, and if you're still hungry, they’ll happily provide free add-ons. Overall, this place offers amazing value for money. It’s already my second visit, and I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Wego Funtel

I recently stayed at Wego Funtel in Taipei for a business trip, and I couldn’t be more impressed. My client booked me a room near the Meilin Mall area—what a hidden gem! This boutique hotel offers beautifully themed rooms with distinct styles: Chinese, American, French, and English decor, each one uniquely designed with charm and attention to detail. I opted for a time-based stay from 10 PM to noon the next day—perfect for a quick overnight break without overspending. The bed was huge, wonderfully comfortable with just the right firmness, and I slept like a baby. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One highlight? Breakfast was delivered straight to my door—so convenient and thoughtful. From the ambiance to the service, every little touch made this experience exceptional. If you're looking for a stylish, intimate getaway or a quiet place to rest between meetings, this is absolutely worth a visit.

Hotel Lee-Chan

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times during my visits to Taipei, and it never fails to impress. For the price, finding a clean, well-located, and comfortable stay in Taipei is truly rare—this place stands out. The room was spacious for its size, with thoughtful design and everything I needed for a relaxing trip. What really impressed me was how consistently affordable the rates are, especially compared to other options in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. Located just minutes from the MRT, getting around the city is super easy. If you're looking for a no-frills, reliable, and budget-friendly option in Taipei, this hotel is definitely worth considering. I'll be back again!

Amba Taipei Songshan

Staying at Amba Taipei Songshan was an absolute delight! The hotel is directly above Songshan MRT and Taiwan Railway stations, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city—just a short walk to the bustling Raohe Street Night Market. There’s also a lively shopping mall right downstairs with plenty of dining options and stores, so you never have to go far for food or essentials. I booked the 101 room on the top floor, which offered stunning panoramic views of Taipei City—perfect for capturing those skyline photos. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was thorough, and amenities were always replenished. One minor downside was the weak water pressure in the shower, which slightly affected the experience. Breakfast was standard—not fancy, but satisfying enough to start the day without needing to grab something elsewhere. Overall, this hotel delivers great value, excellent location, and a comfortable stay. I’d definitely return.

Come Inn Taipei II

The stay was pleasant overall. The hotel is conveniently located in central Taipei, making it easy to reach major attractions via public transportation. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the area feels quiet and safe. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit, with a smooth check-in and check-out process. The room was compact but clean and well-maintained, with all essential amenities provided. While the soundproofing isn’t perfect—some noise from adjacent rooms could be heard—it didn’t significantly affect the experience. For travelers looking for a budget-friendly option with good location and reliable service, this is a solid choice, especially for short stays or business trips.

NK Hostel

This is hands down the most welcoming hostel I've stayed at in the past year—after visiting over ten different accommodations, the staff here truly stood out with their genuine warmth and friendly attitude. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the Americano coffee was a highlight—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The rooms are spacious, and the common areas feel open and airy, making it easy to relax or hang out with other travelers. The bathrooms are clean, large, and well-maintained—something you don’t always get in city hostels. Location-wise, it’s super convenient for exploring Taipei, with easy access to MRT stations and nearby attractions. Great vibe, great value, and honestly, I’m already planning my return visit.

Guide Hotel Taipei Bade

Staying at Guide Hotel Taipei Bade was a great experience overall. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk from the MRT station, with bus terminals, restaurants, and convenience stores all nearby. It’s super convenient for exploring Taipei or grabbing a quick bite. The room was spacious enough to unpack two suitcases easily, and I really appreciated the bathroom with separate dry and wet zones plus a bathtub—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The only minor downside is that soundproofing isn’t ideal; you can hear some noise from neighboring rooms. Also, the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7, so there’s a short wait if you need to drop off or pick up luggage outside regular hours. Still, these small drawbacks don’t take away from the excellent value and comfort this hotel offers—especially for travelers looking for a clean, well-located base without breaking the bank.
