It's only about a 15- to 30-minute walk to Stanley Park or English Beach—ideal for leisurely strolls. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortably furnished, even though it shared access with an emergency exit (no lock). Despite that, we never felt unsafe—just warmly looked after. The building dates back to 1904, and its original charm shines through in every detail: hardwood floors, vintage touches, and a timeless elegance. We truly felt like we were stepping into a refined era of the early 20th century. If we ever return to Vancouver—or anywhere in Canada—we’ll definitely book here again. A gem of a stay, full of character, kindness, and unforgettable moments.
