I was heading to a game at the Gabba and needed an overnight stay. This place was the most affordable option within walking distance, so I didn’t expect much—especially after comparing prices with other nearby hotels. The room isn't large, but it comfortably fit us as two adults and one child. We originally booked for two nights, but due to traveling with our little one, we only stayed for one night. I should have paid closer attention to the policy stating children under 18 aren’t allowed—my mistake for not reading the fine print. Still, the owner was incredibly understanding and let us check in anyway, which really meant a lot and saved us from having to find shelter on the street.
