This was hands down the best stay I’ve had in years. I was looking for a quiet escape from the city chaos, and Cabañas Sol de Abril delivered exactly that. Nestled in a peaceful forest setting, it felt like a true retreat—serene, refreshing, and completely relaxing. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. Every detail, from the cleanliness to the warm hospitality, showed real care. The cabins are even better than pictured online—spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed with natural touches that make you feel at home. If you’re searching for a genuine getaway where you can truly unwind and reconnect with nature, this is the perfect spot. I highly recommend it—thank you for such a memorable experience!

I chose Casa Daupi based on a recommendation, and I’d definitely pick it again if I had to choose. This place truly offers everything you’d want in a stay—charm, comfort, and excellent service all in one. Located just steps from the heart of Mar del Plata, it’s perfect for exploring the city or relaxing by the beach. The rooms are clean, stylish, and full of character, with thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. If you’re visiting MDQ and want an unforgettable experience, this is the place to stay. No other option comes close.

We had an amazing time at City Hotel Mar del Plata! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and easily accessible by public transit. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made our stay very enjoyable. We were especially happy to bring our dog along—the staff warmly welcomed him and even looked after him while we went out for dinner, which was such a relief. What really stood out was the cooperative work atmosphere; the team felt genuinely welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear they care about guests and each other. We’re already planning to come back and highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers looking for a warm, authentic experience in Mar del Plata.

Staying at Solanas Playa Mar del Plata felt like stepping into a forgotten property. The entire complex is clearly in serious need of maintenance and renovation. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that nothing had been properly cared for in years. The window blind cord was jammed, and the cover had come loose—when I opened it, it fell right onto my feet. The bathroom curtain rod was bent and sagging, clearly worn out and in urgent need of replacement. What really stood out—and deeply disappointed me—was the toilet lift chair designed for guests with mobility challenges. It was in terrible condition, showing no signs of being prepared or even considered for accessibility. The kitchen drawers were in an awful state: chipped edges, peeling paint, missing corners, and wood swollen from moisture. We tried using the stove during cold weather but couldn’t light it ourselves—it required calling maintenance staff to do it manually. That’s unacceptable for a self-contained apartment. The access ramp to the pool is dangerously steep—way too steep to meet national accessibility standards (Law No. 24,314) or local municipal regulations. And forget about the bathrooms or elevator—they’re not adapted at all. To reach the pool, guests have to exit the building, walk along a cracked sidewalk, climb steps, and cross uneven ground. For someone in a wheelchair, this is simply impossible. Even worse, the former showroom was being used as a makeshift painting station—paint cans, rollers, and stone-cutting tools scattered across what should’ve been a clean display area. It was embarrassing. Overall, the place feels abandoned. There’s no mention of this property on the official website, yet we were charged annual fees during the pandemic with zero access. Where did the money go? This complex is clearly neglected, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid it—especially if you or anyone in your group has mobility limitations.

The cabins are nice and comfortable, with a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. However, the owner's attitude was extremely unpleasant—always grumpy and unfriendly from the moment we arrived. He imposed strict and arbitrary rules: parking was an issue, even though he allowed cars to park on the sidewalk right in front of the cabins. Visits were also discouraged or outright banned without explanation. It felt like the stay was dictated by his mood rather than guest comfort. Unfortunately, this negative experience overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t return, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

Honestly, this was a disappointing experience. We booked the hotel based on the photos posted on their website—everything looked clean and well-maintained, which made us believe it was a good choice. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it. The room lacked even a bedside table, had no place to put anything down, and was filled with cobwebs and ants. The bathroom was tiny, poorly ventilated, and smelled unpleasant. There wasn’t a single hook for hanging clothes or even a shelf to place essentials. We raised concerns multiple times, but the owner refused to acknowledge the serious shortcomings. It’s hard to believe this place claims to be a 3-star property. After two days of discomfort, we decided to leave early. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone—especially when the online images don’t match the actual conditions. Be cautious if you’re considering staying here.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. The room was small but perfectly clean, with fresh linens, towels, and pillows—everything felt brand new. Water pressure was excellent, which made showers really enjoyable. Despite the compact size, the value for money was outstanding. It's just two blocks from Varese, so everything was super accessible—great for exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and I loved the little garden space and the shared kitchen, which added a nice homey touch. Overall, an amazing experience—definitely planning to come back.

Yanquetruz Hostel is absolutely stunning! The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed—really adds to the vibe. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing with a drink while enjoying sea views. Having 24/7 front desk service is such a convenience, especially when arriving late or needing help early in the morning. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from a quiet, safe beach where you can enjoy sunrise strolls or peaceful evenings. The only minor issue was a small ant presence during my stay, but it seemed unrelated to the hostel itself. Overall, this place offers an amazing mix of comfort, atmosphere, and value—definitely a top pick if you're visiting Mar del Plata!

We stayed at Alpina Cabañas with our family of four, and it was an absolutely wonderful getaway. The cabin is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained—every detail from the cozy bathroom to the comfortable beds made us feel right at home. Everything was well-equipped: cookware, dishes, hairdryer, blankets, and TVs in both the living area and bedrooms. The large windows offer stunning views of the property’s lush, well-landscaped grounds, creating a peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. We especially loved the outdoor space—there’s a barbecue area, multiple play zones for kids, all built with natural wood and surrounded by greenery. It’s perfect for families looking to unwind and reconnect. A special thank you to Fernanda—the communication before arrival was prompt and thorough, and her warm hospitality continued throughout our stay. She truly made us feel welcome. This wasn’t just a place to sleep—it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this gem for a relaxing, authentic escape.

Staying at Gran Hotel Opera was a great experience, especially considering the value for money. The hotel is perfectly located in Mar del Plata—just a short walk from the beach and downtown area, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with modern amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. I highly recommend trying their lunch or dinner service—both are excellent options. The set menus include an appetizer, main course, and dessert, all thoughtfully prepared with classic hotel-style touches. The food was delicious, well-balanced, and portioned just right. Dining here during sunset with views of the sea made the meal even more memorable. Overall, Gran Hotel Opera offers a reliable, enjoyable stay that fits perfectly within its price range. Definitely a place I’d return to on future trips to Mar del Plata.

The hotel is about 20 blocks from the beach, which is a bit far, but it's located in a lively area with constant activity around. We parked our car outside every night without any issues—security has really improved since the local authorities relocated the previous transient groups. The owners are absolutely outstanding—11 out of 10 for service! Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, and the room cleanliness was top-notch. What stood out most was their genuine love for animals—there were stray cats and dogs around, and they clearly care for them. It’s rare to find such warmth and kindness in hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mar del Plata.

This stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. The entire room was soaked with moisture—walls, floors, even the bathroom was dripping. We weren’t given a single towel for bathing, and the sheets were old, stained, and clearly never washed. On the first night, there was no hot water at all—just freezing cold showers. The rooms weren’t cleaned during our stay, and we found ants crawling around in the bedroom, which was absolutely horrifying. The toilet was loose and wobbly, and the tiny two-by-two bathroom flooded every time we turned on the tap. The staff’s service was subpar—rude, indifferent, and completely unhelpful. This place felt more like a nightmare than a hotel. I’ve stayed in many places worldwide, but nothing comes close to this level of neglect. Do not stay here—avoid it at all costs.
