I booked this property a week in advance and paid the full amount upfront. Two days before my planned arrival, I reached out to the host, Mr. Dhruv, to confirm the details—only to be met with a confusing response asking which property I had booked. After sharing my booking information, he informed me that the apartment I reserved had actually been occupied for over a month and was no longer available. He offered a downgrade to a deluxe room instead, which I declined. This situation was completely unacceptable. If the unit was already taken, why was it listed as available on the platform? What if I had shown up without prior notice—where would I have stayed? The lack of transparency and communication reflects a deeply unprofessional approach. While my payment was eventually refunded, the experience left me feeling frustrated and misled. The host’s attitude came across as careless, almost deceptive. I strongly advise future guests to proceed with caution before booking here—this kind of handling damages trust and could lead to serious inconvenience.
Minimalist Poshtel & Suites
We stayed at the Minimalist Poshtel & Suites in New Delhi for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade. Our originally booked smaller rooms weren’t ready upon arrival, so we were upgraded to apartment-style rooms at no extra cost—definitely a highlight of our trip. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and feature a modern Western design that feels both stylish and comfortable. One minor concern was the floor cleaning—some areas felt like they hadn’t been fully mopped, so we stuck to wearing the provided slippers. The main issue we faced was noise from the busy street early in the morning around 6 a.m., which could be disruptive. In the long run, better sound insulation would definitely improve the guest experience. That said, the staff were exceptional. They helped locate the hotel when our driver couldn’t find it (it’s quite tricky to reach), even walking back to our car to guide him personally. They also assisted with luggage—though an elevator is available, their effort made a big difference. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant owned by the hotel, offered à la carte. It’s affordable, and the food quality is solid—while breakfast options are somewhat limited, dinner choices are impressive and varied. I’ve noticed some other reviews seem overly harsh, especially about photos being edited. But honestly, all the amenities we saw were actually available and functional. A few small cosmetic imperfections or visible repairs are normal in most hotels—not just luxury ones—and didn’t impact our stay. For us, the comfort, service, and value outweighed these minor flaws. We’d definitely recommend this place for travelers seeking a quiet, stylish base in New Delhi.
Thikana Delhi ( Boutique B&B)
We stayed at Thikana Delhi right at the start and end of our three-week journey through India, making it a perfect home base. The security team welcomed us warmly even in the middle of the night—such a comforting touch. The next evening, the owner came by for a friendly chat, asked how we were settling in, and shared some great local dining tips. Our room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable—especially the beds. With Delhi’s sweltering heat, the air conditioning worked like a dream. The bathroom was pristine and well-maintained. What stood out most was the rooftop terrace—a peaceful escape to unwind after a hectic first day in New Delhi. We had heavy luggage (over 15 kg) heading to Varanasi, so we left our suitcases at the property with a small fee—no hassle at all. They handled everything with care and flexibility, allowing us to travel light. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A heartfelt thank you to Sheetal and Atul Bhalla and their amazing team. This boutique B&B truly feels like a second home. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Delhi.

The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Kailash Colony Metro Station, making it easy to get around the city. It's also very close to SCI Hospital, which was a major plus for me. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, and well-maintained with all the essentials you'd need. The kitchen is functional, perfect for preparing meals when you want to save on dining out. With only a few stops on the metro, you’re right in the heart of Delhi. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and very welcoming. As business travelers, we needed to attend meetings outside the city center, and having a reliable driver made our trip stress-free and efficient. The driver was punctual, professional, and always ready to help. Even though the property is slightly off the main tourist strip, it's still easy to reach via public transport or taxi. Breakfast is a daily-changing buffet with hot dishes prepared upon request—fresh, warm, and well worth waking up early for. Overall, this place offers exceptional value and hospitality.
