Burswood Lodge Apartments
I can't recommend this property at all—my experience was deeply disappointing and far below what I expected. I arrived late at night (around 11 PM) with my infant son, only to find no key, no check-in instructions, and absolutely no communication from the host. After struggling to get in touch, the host finally responded but seemed completely unaware of my booking, claiming it had been cancelled. An hour later, she showed up, tossed the keys through the gate, and said, 'It’s the corner one'—while it was pouring rain, dark, and stormy. Inside, the condition was even worse: the bed wasn’t made, the sheets were visibly dirty, and used towels were scattered around the bathroom. With no clean room available, I ended up sleeping on the couch with my baby. I reached out again asking for a cleaner to come by 8 AM—no one arrived. I followed up multiple times, and only by 11 AM the next day did I receive a reply saying the cleaner was unavailable. The entire stay was stressful, unhygienic, and professionally unacceptable—especially considering the price point. I even contacted the owner directly, offering to pay for the night on the couch and the following night despite the room still being unclean. Initially, they offered a refund—but three days later, I’ve been told there will be no refund. This isn’t just bad service; it’s a complete lack of responsibility. Save yourself the frustration—stay elsewhere.
