We were absolutely delighted to return to Il Relais Dell'Abbazia after our first visit back in 2023. It was heartwarming to see several returning guests enjoying the same charm we fell in love with. Francoise and her team truly make you feel at home—warm, attentive, and deeply committed to guest comfort. The location is perfect: just a 10- to 15-minute walk from Verona’s historic castle and bustling city center, making it easy to explore everything on foot. We especially loved starting our mornings in the quiet little garden with breakfast—nothing beats sipping coffee surrounded by greenery, weather permitting. Every detail feels intentional, from the cozy ambiance to the thoughtful touches. This isn’t just a stay; it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authenticity, warmth, and a peaceful retreat in the heart of Verona.

Our journey to Verona was a bit of an adventure, with multiple delays that meant we didn’t arrive until after 11 PM. We reached out to the host during the trip, and they were incredibly understanding—no pressure at all, just calm reassurance. Despite the late hour, we were warmly welcomed with genuine hospitality. We already love Verona, but our stay at Relais Pensiero made it even more memorable. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, steps from major sights and great local eateries. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The host was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. To welcome us, they offered a bottle of Prosecco, and there was always coffee and little treats available whenever we wanted. It felt less like a hotel and more like staying with friends who truly care. If you're visiting Verona and want more than just a place to sleep—someone who makes you feel genuinely welcome—this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended.

Staying at Lady Verona Residence was an absolute delight from the moment I arrived. The location is unbeatable—right on the bridge with breathtaking views of the Adige River. Every morning, I enjoyed a quiet moment on the balcony sipping coffee while watching the water flow by—it felt like living in a postcard. The room itself was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic Italian charm. What really stood out was how walkable everything was—within minutes I was strolling through Verona’s historic center and exploring major landmarks without needing to rely on transport. The complimentary self-service coffee station on each floor was such a thoughtful touch, especially for early risers. And the staff? Warm, attentive, and always ready to help. It’s clear they care about guest experience. For anyone looking to combine convenience, charm, and serene river views in a top-tier setting, this is truly one of the best choices in Verona.

The room itself is beautifully designed—modern yet cozy, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The bathroom is both stylish and practical, and the bed? Heavenly. Super soft mattress with just the right amount of support, and pillows that make you want to stay in bed all day. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully presented. Every detail, from the coffee to the local pastries, felt intentional and special. There’s even a kettle, tea, milk, and bottled water for your convenience. Staying at San Giacomo Bed & Breakfast was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Verona’s historic district, it’s just a short walk from all the major attractions. The building itself is a charming old palace with elegant, quiet streets surrounding it—perfect for peace and relaxation. Our experience with La Maison di Luca was quite disappointing. We reached out to the property in advance to confirm our booking details, but never received the payment instructions or account information for the deposit. Despite multiple follow-up emails, we got no response at all. After two days, we finally heard back—only to be told that our original dates were no longer available and we’d need to change them. This lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating, especially after investing time and effort into planning our stay. If you're considering this place, be aware: clear and timely responses are not guaranteed, and it’s risky to rely on their coordination.

Staying at Santa Marta Rooms & Studios was an absolute delight. The place is beautifully designed, incredibly clean, and feels so welcoming from the moment you walk in. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a 20-minute walk to Verona Arena, and right outside the door is a bus stop with three lines connecting straight to the city center and train station. You can easily explore the area without needing a car. Everything is well thought out, and the value for money is outstanding. I’d highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Verona—it truly stands out.

The room was spacious, well-lit with natural sunlight, and thoughtfully laid out for comfort. I was particularly impressed by the soundproofing—no noise from the hallway or street at night, which made for a peaceful sleep. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering local tips and always ready to help. It felt more like staying with friends than a typical guesthouse. With such excellent value for money, this place stands out as one of the best stays I’ve had in Italy. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Verona!

Staying at B&B Armonia in Verona felt like stepping into a hidden gem where every corner reflects the love and passion the owners have poured into this place. Housed in a beautifully restored family farmhouse, the property is an elegant little retreat that feels both timeless and deeply personal. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway, but also welcoming to families and travelers of all ages seeking peace away from daily chaos and surrounded by nature’s beauty. Small pets are welcome too—our furry friend Mia fit right in! The hosts are warm, thoughtful, and attentive without being intrusive—truly making you feel at home in harmony. Though it's just a 10-minute drive from Mezzano Church and the city center, once you arrive here, you’ll feel like you’re nestled among the highest peaks. Waking up to the sunrise over the Pale di San Martino? Priceless. The rooms are cozy, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is exceptional—plentiful, fresh, and full of local goodness, especially the homemade pastries crafted by owner Manuela. Since check-in is in the afternoon, I highly recommend spending your morning exploring the scenic trail from Lake Calaita to Malga Crel—a hike with stunning views and delicious, affordable meals along the way. Another lovely walk, suitable for most fitness levels (with proper hiking shoes), leads to the meadows and the serene Church of San Giovanni. For a memorable dinner, try Ristorante Al Pra, just ten minutes away. They serve authentic regional dishes at fair prices, set in a charming, intimate space with breathtaking mountain views. A truly special evening. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Giovanni, Romina, and sweet Mia—this stay was unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!
