Staying at Hôtel la Pérouse was a delightful surprise! The ambiance is truly elegant and peaceful, and the actual property looks even better than the official photos—seriously, the pictures don’t do it justice. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with an impressive variety of fresh options, and the homemade pastries were exceptional—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One minor downside was the attitude of one of the breakfast servers—a very thin staff member who seemed distant and lacked warmth, which stood out slightly in an otherwise excellent experience. We also left a jacket behind, but given the high shipping cost, we decided not to go through with retrieving it. That said, it would be helpful if the hotel had a more accessible lost-and-found process. Overall, this place offers incredible value, beautiful surroundings, and a memorable stay. I’d definitely return.

The front desk staff went above and beyond: we arrived earlier than check-in time, but they had already prepared the room and even set up the sofa bed right away. Plus, complimentary minibar drinks and coffee were waiting for us—such a thoughtful touch. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a short walk to the beach, about 10 minutes to the train station, and right next to the heart of the city’s shopping district. Everything is within easy reach, and public transport is convenient too. This hotel delivers comfort, service, and value all in one—highly recommend, and definitely coming back!

I actually wanted to extend my stay, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked—I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Nice. The only thing worth noting is the 150 euro deposit required upon check-in, which I wasn’t expecting since I’ve stayed at other hotels here without one. However, given the excellent location, comfort, and overall quality, it’s a small price to pay. This place truly stands out among the three hotels I visited in France, and I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly—kept the room cool and comfortable even on warmer days. One small downside is that the windows don’t have great soundproofing, so you can hear some street noise if you’re near the front rooms. Also, the elevator is quite compact—only fits three people at once. But honestly, these are minor issues when you consider the unbeatable location, cleanliness, and overall value. If you're looking for a no-frills, convenient base in Nice, this hotel delivers.

There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and a bus stop right outside the villa, so getting around town is effortless. The apartment itself is cozy and well-equipped, though it would be nice to have a proper coffee maker in the kitchen. That said, the attention to detail and warm welcome from Clémence and her dad made all the difference. Their hospitality truly added a personal touch to the experience. This is definitely an address worth remembering—highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, location, and genuine charm.

Staying at Aparthotel Ammi Nice Lafayette was an absolute highlight of my trip to Nice! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the city center and major attractions.
