Staying at this hotel for three nights was absolutely fantastic. It’s just a 3-minute walk to Hankyu Station, 5 minutes to the major shopping areas in Umeda, and only 5–7 minutes to JR Osaka Station. The location is unbeatable. Yes, the building might look a bit dated from the outside, but inside it’s clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly modern. The only minor downside is slightly average soundproofing, but considering how affordable it is and how central it is, the value is outstanding. If you're visiting Osaka, don’t even think twice—book this place!

When we arrived, we realized our luggage had been mixed up with someone else’s at the airport. She immediately stepped in, helped us contact the airport, smoothly switched between Chinese and Japanese, and even wrote a handwritten guide on how to take the train—so thoughtful and considerate. As travelers from Hunan, having someone who speaks Chinese made us feel so much more at ease. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just a 1-minute walk from JR Fushimi Station. Everything is super accessible: it’s just one stop to Umeda, close to Shinsaibashi, and only 20–30 minutes to Universal Studios Japan. Kyoto and Nara are also easy to reach. The street right outside has a lively vibe with local izakayas perfect for evening drinks and snacks. There’s also a 7-Eleven and Yoshinoya nearby—great for quick meals. Just behind the hotel is a Hankyu supermarket where you can grab fresh produce, drinks, and daily essentials. The room was spotless—no unpleasant odors at all—and the shower gel left skin feeling soft. We stayed in a superior king room, which comfortably fit both our 24-inch and 26-inch suitcases. There’s a fridge in the room, and the second-floor lobby has a laundry machine and microwave. Every day, fresh bottled water and new trash bags were neatly hung on the door handle—such a nice touch. Wi-Fi was strong throughout, and thanks to the late-night train schedule (mostly stopping after 11 PM), there was absolutely no noise—perfect for a restful sleep. If we ever come back to Osaka, this hotel will be our top pick. It’s not just convenient—it’s genuinely welcoming.

Still, once you’re inside, it feels like a hidden gem. I was happy to get a complimentary drink upon arrival—a nice touch! The champagne in-room is paid, but that’s expected. One downside: the on-site omakase dinner was disappointing—way too bland and not worth the price. I’d skip it if I were you. Overall, though, everything else hit the mark—the ambiance, design, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. It’s definitely a place I’d stay again, especially for travelers who appreciate character and charm over cookie-cutter hotels.

The room itself is huge by Japanese standards, with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine—so much convenience for a long stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making every interaction feel personal and welcoming.
