Pinzon Apartment in Malaga by Solaga Holiday Homes

We stayed for a week and overall had a very positive experience. The apartment is bright, spacious, and beautifully designed with a cozy, homey feel. The beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring Malaga—just steps away from restaurants and lively bars. We’ve been here three times now and still love the city, even when it poured rain during our visit. That said, there were some drawbacks: only one person out of four could get a warm shower—others had to endure cold water, which was quite uncomfortable. The noise level was also a major issue, especially on weekends. With six bars and restaurants literally within 20 steps of the front door, the music and chatter carried through the night until around 6 a.m., making it hard to sleep—even with earplugs. The kitchen was under-equipped for cooking, which was disappointing. Despite these concerns, we’d still recommend Malaga for a city break. The charm of the place outweighs the downsides, and we’re already planning our next trip.

Soho Boutique Bahía Málaga

This place truly stands out among all the hotels I've stayed at. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the heart of Málaga, with restaurants, shops, and attractions all within easy reach. The room was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and very well-maintained. The bed was cozy, and the overall atmosphere felt clean and welcoming. My only minor concern was a faint odor from the bathroom drains near the ground-floor entrance, but it wasn't overwhelming—opening the window helped clear it up quickly. Despite that small issue, the experience was excellent. For a great mix of comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel is definitely worth considering on your next visit to Málaga.

Malagaflat City Center

The property was a major disappointment compared to the photos on the platform. The apartment was dirty, with visible cobwebs in corners and an unclean kitchen counter that looked unpleasant. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, which was annoying during our stay. We were only given fresh towels once during our entire 7-night stay—no additional cleaning or housekeeping visits at all. There was also no option to store luggage, making check-in and check-out very inconvenient. Overall, the condition of the unit and lack of basic service made this experience far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained place.

Iloftmalaga Miramar

Upon arrival, the bed linens were visibly dirty, and a terrible smell emanated from the fridge-freezer—clearly not cleaned properly, with bacteria producing a foul odor that spread into the kitchen. Even the plug-in air freshener didn’t help; it just added another unpleasant scent, likely meant to mask the fridge’s stench. The kitchen window was left wide open—probably to ventilate the bad smell. The lounge TV was positioned so low it was barely above floor level, making viewing painful and awkward—perfect if you enjoy neck strain! The only redeeming factor was the stunning sea view. Overall, this apartment is a major disappointment. I’d strongly advise avoiding it and choosing somewhere else—there are plenty of far more pleasant and better-value options. Check-in was confusing, and despite leaving early due to the poor experience, no refund was offered. My vacation plan was ruined. Don’t be fooled by the photos—they’re misleading.

The accommodation is perfectly located right in the heart of the city—super convenient for exploring on foot or via public transit. Staying in an apartment format was a big plus, offering plenty of space and a homey feel with all the essentials. However, be sure to plan ahead for your access codes—communication can be tricky if you don’t coordinate early. The only downsides were the shower area, which wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been, and a faint odor coming from the plumbing. Not deal-breaking, but something worth noting if you’re particular about hygiene. Overall, this is a solid choice, especially for travelers who value location and independence while enjoying a more authentic local vibe.

Iloftmalaga Premium Centro Histórico

Our stay at Iloftmalaga Premium Centro Histórico in Málaga was far from satisfactory. The apartment listing online showed beautiful photos, but the reality was a big disappointment. The unit had visible wear and tear—scratches on the walls near chair backs, torn pillowcases, stained curtains and carpets, a cracked mirror in the secondary bathroom, slow-draining sinks in the main bathroom, and an extremely difficult-to-operate front door lock. The coffee maker didn’t work initially, and we were only given a replacement later that day. Communication with the team was frustrating—emails took forever to reply, so we ended up creating a WhatsApp account just to get a response. We’re both in our sixties and arrived from Canada after 27 hours without sleep. We had no idea where Alameda Principal was and had to walk over 500 meters with heavy luggage to the office, which was located just a short distance away—no shuttle or assistance offered. This was easily one of the most exhausting arrivals we’ve ever experienced, even after traveling extensively across Europe. Prior to arrival, we received a warm message from someone named José promising personalized support throughout our stay—but he never responded to any of our messages. It’s disappointing that a property marketed as premium with high-end pricing fails to deliver even basic guest service. A proper concierge experience is expected at this level, but here, it simply wasn’t there. If you're looking for a hassle-free, well-supported stay in Málaga, this isn’t the place.

The location is ideal, just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Everything we needed was within easy reach. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered great value for money. It felt like home from the moment we walked in. Fresh Velazquez Apartments

I absolutely loved this property—its location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Málaga with everything within walking distance. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and well-designed, making it feel like a true home away from home. I appreciated having nearby parking, which made things so much easier during my stay. Any questions I had were answered promptly by the platform—response time was excellent, and communication was always clear and friendly. Special thanks to Yulia for her constant attention and warm support throughout my visit; she truly made a difference. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This place deserves more than 10 out of 10—it’s a perfect 10 plus!

La Casa de la Alameda

We stayed at this hotel with a group of friends during our holiday in Málaga, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet surroundings. However, towards the end of our stay, the staff’s attitude became noticeably cold and dismissive. As a group of young women, we felt disrespected when they sent us blunt text messages with no courtesy. The situation worsened when we collected our luggage—the front desk staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed by our presence, making us feel like an inconvenience. This negative interaction really dampened our otherwise positive impression. It's a shame because the location and accommodations are strong points. We hope the management addresses these service issues, as first impressions matter, and respectful treatment should be standard for every guest.

Gran Alameda Centro

The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from local restaurants, shops, and the metro, making it super convenient for exploring Malaga. While there’s no front desk staff to greet guests upon arrival (despite what’s advertised), the team was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and included thoughtful touches like a safe and first-aid kit—perfect for a comfortable stay. Entry is smartphone-based, but the free Wi-Fi works reliably every time we approach the building, so no connectivity issues. Overall, this place stands out as one of the best accommodations we’ve stayed at in Malaga. With its unbeatable location, excellent service, and high-quality amenities, we’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Hilton Garden Inn Malaga

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel truly deserves recognition. I visited Malaga with my 6-year-old for a quick getaway, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast options were fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced—my kid loved every bite. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Special shoutout to Jorg at reception—he was warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a short walk from the city center, easy access to public transport, and close to major attractions. With such great service, comfort, and value, we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend this gem for families or solo travelers wanting a stress-free stay in Malaga.
