The rooms are spacious and well-organized, featuring a wardrobe with a safe, a mini-fridge, and a kettle for tea. Unfortunately, tea bags weren’t provided, which was a small disappointment. The mattress offered good support, but the linens showed significant wear and tear from years of use. Towels were large and reasonably soft, though also visibly worn. Daily housekeeping was reliable and thorough. Breakfast was the weakest part of the stay—very repetitive over seven days, with no variation in menu or quality. Hot options were limited and didn’t appeal to our taste preferences, while fruit selection was minimal. It felt like we were eating the same thing every morning, which quickly became boring. Room service is available but comes with a hefty fee of 2,000 pesos plus a 10% tip—quite expensive for what’s offered. On the bright side, staff service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. One minor annoyance was the room key card system for the elevator, which often failed to work without repeated attempts. The hotel itself feels dated, with outdated bathrooms where the shower is built into the bathtub. Water frequently splashed out due to poor curtain sealing. Also, the dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were awkward to use, and the products themselves smelled more like household detergent than personal care items—leaving hair feeling greasy and unclean. Despite these drawbacks, our triple room had ample space and worked well for our group. The hotel also offers helpful travel tips and on-site currency exchange, which added value. Overall, I’d recommend this property if you prioritize location and convenience over modern amenities. Just be prepared for older infrastructure and some quirks—but with realistic expectations, it delivers a decent stay in a vibrant city setting.
