Staying at the Best Western Madison Hotel in Milan was a great experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—exactly what you'd expect from a reliable hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. Location-wise, it's very convenient—just a short walk to public transit and close to major attractions. One small downside: there was ongoing construction right outside the building, starting early in the morning around 8 AM, which made some noise. I’d recommend bringing earplugs if you're sensitive to early-morning sounds. That said, I loved waking up early to explore the nearby castle and park—perfect for a peaceful start to the day. On my way back, I stumbled upon a little Italian restaurant run by a family from Wenzhou. Their asparagus and shrimp pasta is absolutely worth trying—it’s fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly authentic. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this hidden gem. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next trip to Milan.

The location on a quiet private street makes the property incredibly serene—almost unheard of in a bustling city like Milan. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail. The breakfast was generous, and the small private garden at the back was a lovely touch for morning coffee or an afternoon break. My bathroom was exclusively mine, located down the hall, but it was large, clean, and well-equipped—no inconvenience at all. Everything was spotless and meticulously maintained. Antonia, the host, was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made me feel welcome and took great care to ensure my stay was comfortable. If I ever return to Milan, especially this area, I’d go out of my way to book here again. This place is perfect for anyone seeking tranquility without sacrificing convenience—highly recommended.

Terrible experience! We booked non-refundable 10 days in advance and completed the check-in process online, but when we arrived at the property, no one was there. We were supposed to be able to access our room ourselves, but it was locked from the inside. After multiple attempts to contact the staff, we finally got a reply saying they wouldn’t arrive for another 45–50 minutes. When they finally showed up, they opened the door with a second key and discovered someone else had already occupied the room—there were beer bottles, a backpack, and clothes left behind. They quickly cleared out the items and invited us in. However, I refused to stay in a room that had been used by strangers whose identity we didn’t know and who still had a key to the door. I asked for an alternative room, but the staff said there were no other rooms with private bathrooms available and then simply walked away, leaving us stranded in the hallway. All further attempts to reach them failed. By 8 PM, we had no choice but to search for another place to stay. Even worse, they marked us as 'no-show' on the platform, which blocked our full refund and prevented us from posting any review. Never again—I would never recommend this place to anyone.
