The room itself is spacious by Milan standards, offering plenty of comfort and modern amenities. Staff are professional, friendly, and welcoming—no matter where guests come from, they treat everyone with the same warmth and respect. Our first stop in Italy was Milan, and staying at Crowne Plaza Milan City was an absolute highlight. The airport bus costs just €10 and drops you right at the central station—just a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Even before check-in time, we were able to store our luggage. Right outside the front door is the Yellow M3 metro line, which takes only six stops to reach the Duomo—perfect for sightseeing and shopping. When we returned in the afternoon, our bags were already in the room, which saved us so much hassle. The pull-out sofa for the kids was surprisingly comfortable, and the room itself was spotless, well-equipped, and spacious enough for three adults without feeling cramped. The complimentary bottled water comes in small boxes with only three bottles per day—nothing wrong with that, but if you’re looking for better quality, pick up something slightly more expensive from the nearby supermarket; cheaper brands tend to be just filtered tap water and leave noticeable scale when boiled. But the real star? The breakfast. Hands down one of the best we’ve had anywhere—especially the hot stir-fried vegetables, which felt like a breath of fresh air for someone with a Chinese palate. It’s now our benchmark when comparing future hotels.

He also kindly told me, 'If you need anything, just call us—we’ll bring it right up.' Later, I accidentally dropped my glass bottle in the elevator lobby, breaking it, and felt so embarrassed. Instead of any frustration, he calmly reassured me, brought me another bottle, and even sent the security guard to accompany me back to my room while he arranged for the floor to be cleaned. My stay at Hotel Milano Regency was fantastic overall. The hotel was spotless—clean rooms, tidy common areas, and staff who went above and beyond with their hospitality. While the location isn’t right next to Milano Centrale (which I needed to reach), it’s still very accessible via public transit—just a 300-meter walk to multiple bus and tram stops, including a direct line to Cadorna Station. There are three restaurants right across the street, all packed during dinner hours, and the food quality was excellent. On my first night, I dined at a restaurant in Piazza Firenze—also highly recommended and delicious. The area feels a bit quiet after dark, but as a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking around. I saw police patrolling a few times, which added peace of mind. There’s also a small courtyard downstairs, but unfortunately mosquitoes were a real nuisance during my short visit—so I skipped the outdoor seating and headed straight back to my room to enjoy a relaxing evening with Young Montalbano on screen. Overall, great value, good vibe, and super convenient for exploring Milan.
