That said, the price is super affordable and includes a simple breakfast, so don’t expect luxury—just come in with realistic expectations. The main downside? The door doesn’t close automatically, and the metal staircase makes carrying luggage up and down quite challenging. Still, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with a vibrant atmosphere and solid value, this place is worth considering. It’s conveniently located near public transit, making it easy to explore São Paulo. For a no-frills, authentic backpacker experience, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for.

The staff were incredibly polite and attentive—truly welcoming and helpful! Initially assigned to room 412, I noticed the mattress and pillows needed replacing, and the air conditioning wasn’t working. After reporting it, I was promptly moved to room 208, which was a fantastic upgrade. The room is spacious, with brand-new bedding, fully functional air conditioning, and an amazing, stylish decor that really stood out. While the first room had some issues, the hotel’s quick response and seamless reassignment made all the difference. It’s clear they care about guest comfort and satisfaction. A great stay overall—highly recommend for anyone visiting São Paulo.

Honestly, this was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. From the very first contact, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful—they even assisted me with downloading apps for rideshares and payments. Everyone at the hostel is kind, attentive, friendly, and always proactive in making your stay better. I met so many amazing people during my stay that I’ll definitely keep in touch for life. The facilities were all in perfect working order, and the place is cleaned daily with care—clearly run by a team who genuinely cares about their guests. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of the action, just steps away from bars, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, restaurants, and all sorts of shops. It’s nestled between busy, central streets, making it easy to walk to the metro or access major city avenues. One standout feature? The street is closed off at night for safety, which means you can sit on the sidewalk with your phone without worry—a rare and refreshing thing in São Paulo! The only minor downside is the Wi-Fi—while there’s a beautiful, well-designed coworking space ideal for remote work, the internet connection was unreliable at times. If that were improved, this place would truly deserve a perfect 10. Thank you, Madá—I’ll be back every time I visit São Paulo!
