Breakfast was exceptional: fresh juices, homemade pastries, and freshly baked bread—all made on-site and delicious. The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, yet just steps away from the charming cafes and lively restaurants of Santa Teresa, which come alive both day and night. This neighborhood alone makes the trip worthwhile. Villa Laurinda truly stands out as a unique gem in Rio de Janeiro—a place that feels special from the moment you arrive, and one I’d happily return to again.

Check-in was a bit delayed—expected at 12:30, but they only confirmed room readiness around 1:20 PM. Still, the experience overall was positive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, directly connected to the airport, making transfers and early flights super convenient. That said, the front desk is tucked away at the back of the lobby, so you’ll need to walk a bit through the spacious corridors. The rooms and hallways had a faint cleaning smell—likely from recent sanitization—but nothing overwhelming. The rooftop view is definitely worth it, especially P1 and P2 areas. It gets busy, but the panoramic sight of the airport and city skyline, especially during sunset, is spectacular. Perfect for a quick break or just soaking in the atmosphere. Overall, great value, excellent access, and a solid choice if you're flying in or out of Rio.
