Absolutely outstanding—every single aspect of this stay was flawless. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel’s ambiance is elegant yet warm, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood just steps away from local charm and public transit. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern comforts and cozy touches—especially the bed, which offered perfect support for a restful night. Every detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the quiet atmosphere, made it feel like a true retreat. We’ve already started planning our next visit—this isn’t just a hotel, it’s a destination worth returning to. Highly recommended for travelers seeking authenticity, quality, and a touch of luxury.

The Arosa Rio Hotel is an outstanding choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Rio de Janeiro. I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Atlantico Prime! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the metro and close to all the main attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. It’s clear they care about guest comfort and experience. I absolutely loved my stay at Mengo Palace Hotel—so much so that I’m already planning to return. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable for exploring Rio’s South Zone—walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and local charm. The bathtub was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The TV remote could be better, but honestly, who spends hours watching TV? It’s a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent experience. Clean, welcoming staff, great ambiance, and a prime spot make this hotel a standout choice. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, well-located place to stay in Rio de Janeiro’s vibrant South Zone. Definitely coming back!

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—right next to the beach, with a quick walk to the sea and easy access to downtown via public transit. The breakfast spread was incredible, offering a wide variety of fresh options from local Brazilian treats to classic continental fare. Everything was well-prepared and abundant. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This place truly delivers on every front—great value, excellent service, and a prime spot for exploring Rio. I’ll definitely be back!

Staying at Hotel Villa Rica was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk from everything I wanted to see and do in Rio de Janeiro. I didn’t have a single complaint during my entire trip. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and inviting. It’s rare to find such a great balance between convenience, quality, and value. I’ve already planned my return visit—this hotel has earned a permanent spot on my list of favorite places to stay in Rio.

Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from the metro station, making it easy to explore downtown Rio or nearby attractions without needing multiple transfers. There's also a bus stop right outside, which makes getting to the airport or other areas quick and hassle-free. Safety is a top priority here; I felt completely secure walking around, even late at night thanks to attentive security staff. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money—definitely my go-to choice when visiting Rio again.

Stayed at Gamboa Rio Hotel and was thoroughly impressed! The room was spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of comfort and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the fresh-smelling towels—they were soft and added such a nice touch to the experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transit and nearby attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. It's clear that attention to detail matters here. This place offers great value for money and delivers a high-quality stay. I’d definitely return and recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Rio.

The hotel offers a solid experience overall, especially considering its prime location. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making check-in and daily interactions pleasant. While some of the facilities show signs of aging—like slightly worn mirrors in the bathroom and faded paint in certain areas—the rooms remain clean and functional. The value for money is excellent, and being just steps away from public transit makes exploring Rio easy. It’s not a luxury stay, but for travelers who prioritize convenience and a welcoming atmosphere over brand-new finishes, this place is a great pick.

Nestled right in the vibrant heart of Lapa, Books Hostel is an unbeatable spot for solo travelers looking to connect and explore. Just a short walk or affordable ride away, you're steps from Santa Teresa's charming streets, the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain, and the beautiful beaches. The atmosphere is welcoming and safe—everyone feels at home. Staff are incredibly helpful, always ready with local tips and recommendations. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an experience you’ll want to keep going back to. Hard to leave, but absolutely worth every moment.

My stay at Rio Forest Hostel was absolutely fantastic! The team was incredibly friendly and offered great local tips—everything from public transit options and where to grab delicious food, to getting a SIM card and finding ATMs. It’s also a perfect place to meet fellow travelers and share stories. Breakfast was just average—not bad, but nothing special. That said, the stairs are a real workout, so you’ll definitely stay active during your visit! Overall, the hostel is clean, welcoming, and offers excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a relaxed yet social atmosphere in Rio, this is a top choice.

I stayed at Hotel Vitória in Rio de Janeiro and had a very positive experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always with a smile, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. The cleanliness was outstanding; every corner of the room felt fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast was simple but sufficient—just enough to start the day right. What really stood out was the location: directly across from Exit A of Catete Metro Station. You're steps away from Palácio do Catete, Largo do Machado, Flamengo Beach, and relatively close to Lapa. Walking distance to restaurants, bakeries, street food vendors, pharmacies, supermarkets, bus stops, and more made daily life super convenient. Getting around to tourist attractions was easy—whether by foot, metro, or Uber. After 10 PM, street food options become limited, but it’s only a 10-minute leisurely walk to Largo do Machado where most of the action remains. One highlight: the hotel allows food delivery straight to your door—no need to go downstairs. Just inform reception, and your meal arrives without hassle. That said, there are a few drawbacks. There’s no elevator, so if you’re carrying luggage, climbing the stairs can be tiring. The bathroom lacks a shower enclosure, so water splashes everywhere during showers—but the floor dries quickly, and there’s a mop available. The TV remote didn’t work properly, though the TV itself is modern with a crisp image and only free-to-air channels. On a colder night, the hotel didn’t have blankets to offer. They did provide an extra sheet, which helped a bit but wasn’t enough. The mattress and pillow were quite soft—comfortable, but could use some firmness for better support. Still, considering the excellent location, great service, and value for money, this place is definitely worth staying at, especially if you’re exploring Rio on foot.
