However, the sofa beds were a major letdown: the mattresses had visible stains, the springs were broken, and sleeping on them felt like a nightmare. Given how important rest is when traveling, this was truly disappointing. That said, everything else about the stay was fantastic—great vibe, excellent amenities, and a wonderful base for exploring Bordeaux. I’d still recommend it overall, just with a heads-up about the sofa beds.
