Though English wasn’t available, the team communicated clearly in Chinese and were incredibly warm and attentive throughout. The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed—comfortable and peaceful. It’s a hidden gem with a perfect blend of nature, serenity, and excellent hospitality. The host even offered tea, though we had to decline due to a tight schedule. A few minor notes: one sofa in the living area was slightly worn, and the bathtub has no door, so water splashes out when using it—adding a curtain or door would improve this. That said, the hot water was excellent, the bed had heated underlay, and there was a heater in the room—perfect for cold evenings. Any questions via WeChat were answered instantly. The highlight? I accidentally left my wedding ring behind, and the staff found it, kept it safe, and returned it promptly. Truly amazing hospitality. Located just a short 200-meter walk from the ancient town, it’s convenient yet peaceful—situated on the opposite side of the historic water wheel, so there’s little noise or crowds. Getting around via Didi was super affordable—only ¥9 to get to the airport or other attractions. It’s rare to find such a well-designed, stylish, and budget-friendly stay in Lijiang. I’d absolutely recommend this place and will definitely return.

Before arrival, they proactively coordinated with our taxi driver to clarify the hotel’s location within Lijiang Ancient Town—upon reaching, the host arrived on a stylish three-wheeled electric scooter, which was such a memorable welcome. The room itself is beautifully designed, exactly as shown in the photos: clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful details that reflect local character. What stood out most was the homemade mooncakes available throughout the day, plus a warm cup of tea brewed personally by the host in the evening—perfect for unwinding. We spent a relaxed night sharing beers on the terrace, chatting under the stars, and soaking in the peaceful lakeside vibe. It's just a short 12 RMB taxi ride to the ancient town, and about 20 RMB to Black Dragon Pool. If you're interested in visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the host can easily arrange a tour for you. This place offers an authentic, intimate experience with excellent value. I’d definitely come back.
