After checking in, we explored the rooftop garden and admired the artful design throughout the lobby. When our host noticed our interest, he kindly offered a personal tour of the private museum on the basement floor, sharing fascinating stories about the ancient Tea Horse Road. The room itself was spacious and incredibly comfortable—huge bed, generous space, and a luxurious soaking tub. We woke up just in time to walk a few steps to catch the sunrise painting the snow-capped mountains golden, then snuggled back in for a long lie-in until noon check-out. Before we left, he gifted us each a custom ceramic coffee cup with traditional Naxi pictographic symbols—such a thoughtful keepsake. He even saw us off to the car. This stay wasn’t just a hotel visit—it felt like a genuine cultural experience. Unforgettable, heartwarming, and totally worth every penny.
