There’s also a small but well-stocked convenience store just downstairs—perfect for travelers needing snacks or essentials, and surprisingly affordable. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value, comfort, and charm. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Copenhagen.

Located right in the heart of Copenhagen, 1 Hotel Copenhagen offers unbeatable convenience with its proximity to bustling shopping streets and a vibrant nightlife scene. Although the exterior is under renovation and there aren’t many guests around, the overall experience was still excellent. The rooms are spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. Walking distance to major attractions like the Little Mermaid statue, Nyhavn, and the Royal Palace makes exploring the city effortless. However, I did feel uneasy about the security deposit process. I had already paid the full amount for two nights through the booking platform, but upon check-in, the front desk asked for an additional 1,030 and 1,015 DKK per room as deposits. It’s been five days since my departure, and the refund hasn’t appeared on my credit card statement yet—this lack of transparency is disappointing. While the hotel itself delivers on comfort and location, this post-check-out issue could have been handled much more smoothly.

The complimentary laundry detergent pods were a thoughtful touch. The rooms were modern, spotless, and comfortable, with plush bedding and clean, fresh bathroom amenities. Even though there was a language barrier, the front desk staff was incredibly patient and helpful, using translation tools to ensure we understood everything. Their friendly attitude made a big difference. Overall, this was a fantastic experience—great value, excellent service, and a perfect base for exploring Copenhagen. I’d definitely stay here again.

Staying at STAY Nordhavn was an absolute highlight of our Copenhagen trip. We booked a two-bedroom unit, but were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a three-bedroom apartment—definitely spacious enough for a small group. The layout is fantastic: a full kitchen, living area, bathroom, and a washer-dryer combo all in one. Plus, two balconies offered great views and fresh air. Right downstairs, there’s a cozy café and a bakery—perfect for morning coffee or a quick bite. The nearest supermarket, Meny, is just a 5-minute walk away, and the M4 metro line is literally steps from the door. We also enjoyed riding the yellow city boat for short scenic trips around the harbor. Initially, finding the front desk was a bit tricky, but a kind fellow guest pointed us in the right direction—such a small moment that made a big difference. Check-in required a pre-authorization of 2,500 DKK, which was released immediately on check-out—super fast and stress-free. Prior to arrival, we received a clear email outlining housekeeping details: guests are responsible for emptying trash, washing dishes, and tidying up before departure. Cleaning is done every 4–7 days, but it doesn’t include dishwashing or making beds, so self-sufficiency is key. Overall, this place offers unbeatable value, excellent location, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend for travelers who want space, convenience, and a home-like feel.
