Whether you're craving fast food or local eats, there's something for everyone nearby: McDonald's, Starbucks, KFC, and even a Sukiya—all within walking distance. A supermarket is just around the corner, making daily essentials super convenient. What really surprised me was the staff’s language skills; one front desk agent spoke fluent Japanese, which totally caught me off guard! Even if English isn’t your strong suit, communication was smooth and welcoming. The room itself was spacious, with excellent shower pressure and consistent water temperature—no sudden spikes or drops. One minor note: the walls are a bit thin, and due to the lively local culture, some noise from neighboring rooms can be heard occasionally. But honestly, that didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Mexico City feels safer than many other major cities in North America, and I’d definitely recommend it to fellow travelers from Japan and beyond. A fantastic choice for comfort, location, and value.

We stayed at City Centro by Marriott in Mexico City for a holiday and were really impressed with the location—perfectly situated for exploring the city, with great access to public transit and nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to assist us throughout our visit. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. The only issue we encountered was with breakfast. We had booked a room with breakfast included, but the offerings were inconsistent over the three days. On day one, we received just a small piece of toast and a few pieces of fruit—barely enough for an adult. Day two, we were offered a full selection from the main menu, including various egg dishes, which felt much more appropriate. Then on day three, we were back to the minimal breakfast again, which was confusing since we’d expected consistency. Despite this mix-up, the overall experience was outstanding. The hotel’s service, comfort, and location made up for any minor hiccups. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

However, once you step outside or head up to the rooftop terrace, you're immediately immersed in a bustling, tourist-heavy area. If you value tranquility, it’s best to enjoy the hotel’s calm ambiance rather than venture out too much. Overall, the combination of excellent breakfast, quiet rooms, and prime location makes this a standout choice for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience.

The room was clean and well-equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, hairdryer, and standard toiletries—everything you’d need for a short stay. Breakfast included milk, scrambled eggs, bread, and fresh fruit—simple but satisfying. I didn’t stay long, but the value for money was excellent. If I’m ever in Mexico City again, especially on a quick trip or layover, I’d definitely consider coming back.

During the day, a front desk agent even helped me translate phrases for buying medicine, which was such a relief given my limited Spanish. The only minor issue was when housekeeping knocked on the door despite seeing the 'Do Not Disturb' sign. I had already placed my trash outside with the bag tied up and clearly indicated I didn’t want any disturbance, especially since my mom was sleeping. It would’ve been great if they’d respected that sign more consistently. Overall, though, the experience was fantastic—great location, quiet atmosphere, and super convenient access to public transit and nearby attractions. The service, cleanliness, and value all make this a top choice for anyone visiting Mexico City. Definitely coming back!

We've stayed at several hotels in Mexico City, including the Gran Hotel, but Casa Herrmann Suites has quickly become our go-to choice. The suite was absolutely massive—bigger than our first apartment! Despite its quirky charm, every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly helpful, even using Google Translate to communicate since my Spanish is limited to ordering food at restaurants. The location is unbeatable—steps away from everything we wanted to explore. I’m not sure if I should even post this review because I fear it’ll get fully booked soon. Honestly, we’ll be back.
