The area around the hotel is lively—street food stalls, Thai massage shops, and Middle Eastern-style eateries line the streets, giving it a vibrant local feel. There’s also a passage connecting to Baiyoke Hotel, though I’m not sure if it’s open 24/7. The room came with a bathtub, but initially no hot water was available—after contacting front desk, a staff member promptly arrived to fix the issue. Once repaired, hot water worked fine, though I noticed slight water seepage near the drain after using large amounts of hot water. Elevators are present on every floor, but the room layout feels like it's positioned halfway between floors, which made maneuvering a large suitcase a bit tricky. Check-in required a cash deposit of 1,000 THB, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel offers luggage storage—just get a card and leave your bags until evening, super helpful. While the building is older, it’s spacious and well-organized, making it feel more comfortable than expected. The only minor downside is that the air conditioning unit makes a noticeable hum when running, but it’s not disruptive.
