Siamaze Hostel
I stayed at Siamaze Hostel in Bangkok and had a really positive experience overall. The hostel has an elevator, making access to the rooms much more convenient, especially with luggage. Check-in required a 100 THB deposit for the key card, which was fully refunded upon checkout—no issues there. The location is great, the property is clean and well-maintained, with a spacious layout that feels welcoming. The room itself was spotless and tidy, though it’s worth noting you’ll need to bring your own slippers. Also, the private room doesn’t come with a hairdryer—guests can either use the shared bathroom on the second floor or rent one for 300 THB (a small fee but totally worth it if you’re traveling in humid weather). Overall, the value for money is excellent. It’s perfect for budget travelers who still want comfort and cleanliness. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok.

Staying at Royal View Resort - Rang Nam was an absolute delight, especially considering the price. The room was just the right size—spacious enough without feeling overwhelming—and everything was spotlessly clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the TV had excellent picture quality, though all channels were in Thai with no English subtitles, which was a bit of a letdown for non-Thai speakers. Still, the little touches like having a gas stove and a deep soaking tub made it feel more like home. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the BTS station, and the route is packed with convenience: two 7-Elevens, several massage parlors, a pharmacy, a steakhouse, three authentic Thai eateries, and even a small shopping arcade connected directly to the transit hub. Across the street is the Royal Orchid Free Shop, so daily errands or sightseeing easily form a nice loop. Check-in was smooth and welcoming—guests are offered a refreshing drink and towel while waiting comfortably. The front desk staff were courteous, warm, and genuinely friendly, making me feel like I was staying at a luxury hotel rather than a mid-range property. Even housekeeping staff greeted guests as they left each day, which added such a personal touch. Breakfast included three sweet treats to choose from—delicious and satisfying. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. It's not just worth recommending—it’s definitely a top pick for a repeat visit.
