Absolutely worth five stars! The only thing I’d suggest improving is the breakfast selection—it could be more generous, especially since this is a five-star hotel. One egg per person felt a bit sparse for such a high-end property. However, everything else was outstanding. The room was incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully laid out, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. Unlimited water, plus complimentary snacks, coffee, and beverages throughout the day made it feel like a real treat. Location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to Constitution Square, surrounded by amazing dining options. The hotel itself is a beautifully preserved historic building with great character and charm. Staff at the front desk and business service were professional, friendly, and helpful—they even assisted me with bus tickets and communicated in Spanish when needed. Overall, an exceptional stay with excellent value and a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A supermarket is just around the corner, making daily essentials super convenient. What really surprised me was the staff’s language skills; one front desk agent spoke fluent Japanese, which totally caught me off guard! Even if English isn’t your strong suit, communication was smooth and welcoming. The room itself was spacious, with excellent shower pressure and consistent water temperature—no sudden spikes or drops. One minor note: the walls are a bit thin, and due to the lively local culture, some noise from neighboring rooms can be heard occasionally. But honestly, that didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Mexico City feels safer than many other major cities in North America, and I’d definitely recommend it to fellow travelers from Japan and beyond. A fantastic choice for comfort, location, and value.

The restaurant was definitely the highlight of my stay—excellent service and delicious food. For just 300 pesos, I enjoyed a full meal that was both satisfying and flavorful. However, the breakfast buffet was a letdown compared to the restaurant. When I arrived at 10 AM, everything had already been cleared away, even though reception told me it ran until noon. On the second day, there was no staff available to refill the buffet—only one cook handling everything, trying to serve while also cooking. It was chaotic and frustrating. The room itself was clean, cozy, and comfortable—nothing fancy, but perfectly functional. Cable TV, soft armchairs, good beds, and strong hot water flow made it a pleasant place to rest. The neighborhood isn’t touristy, but there are local street food stalls just one block away, and Metro Chabacano (Lines 2, 8, and 9) is only two blocks off, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, despite the communication issues between staff, the experience was solid. It’s affordable, convenient, and well worth a repeat visit.
