Staying at Fenix Hotel Hollywood was a solid experience overall. While most hotels in the U.S. don’t provide slippers—so I regretted not bringing my own—the real highlight here is having a washer and dryer right in the room. The location is excellent—just about 200 meters from the Walk of Fame, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions on foot or by public transit. However, I should mention that the area isn’t very safe at night, so we kept both front and back doors locked throughout our stay. It’s not ideal for late-night strolls, but the convenience and central spot make up for it. If you value practicality, good access, and a comfortable base in Hollywood, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

We waited over 48 hours for a response but received nothing. Eventually, we had to contact the platform we booked through just to request a full refund. I also reported the misleading address information. This experience felt borderline fraudulent—completely unacceptable. Don’t waste your time or money on this one.

The kitchen is spacious, clean, and fully equipped with all the essentials, including instant hot water—a real plus for making coffee or instant meals. Just a heads-up: I left a banana on the counter and it was gone—so maybe keep your snacks secure! The front desk staff member was friendly, welcoming, and definitely one of the best-looking guys I’ve seen at a hostel. One small note: the entrance is tucked away behind a garden facing the street, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention—but the platform sent me a follow-up email with clear directions, which helped a lot. Overall, this place delivers great value, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommend for solo travelers or budget-conscious explorers looking to be right in the middle of the action.

There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or groceries. I brought a small pot to make tea and coffee, which made self-catering easy and fun. One thing to mention: there’s a small group of homeless individuals who often stay near the entrance. I try to leave some food each night, and if you’re staying here, please be respectful and understanding—they’re part of the neighborhood too. A little kindness goes a long way.
