Staying at Hotel Villa Stella was an absolute delight. The property is nestled in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped setting with a serene atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh local ingredients, perfectly baked pastries, and rich coffee that started my day right. Located just a short commute from the heart of Venice, it’s ideal for travelers who want both tranquility and convenience. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Venice.

Hotel Sorriso exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is incredibly convenient—public transport runs right to the city center, making exploration effortless. The hotel itself is spotless and secure, with a welcoming staff who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable. What stood out most was the spacious rooms; they felt more like a home than a hotel, offering plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. Everything about this place was perfect—from the cleanliness to the friendly atmosphere. We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely return.

I stayed at Hotel la Pergola di Venezia for three nights and instantly felt at home—more like a cozy student dorm than a hotel, which I actually loved. It was super easy to reach from Lido SME station via the metro, and the location is wonderfully quiet, perfect for a restful stay. My room was bright, had ample natural light, a good desk for working, and reliable Wi-Fi despite being on the second floor. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and the hot water worked well with solid shower pressure—though the showerhead had a few clogged holes, which was a minor annoyance. All the essentials were there: complimentary morning coffee, clean bathrooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. While the room could use a deeper cleaning, especially around corners and under furniture, the value for money was outstanding—way better than I expected based on some of the earlier reviews. I’m already planning to come back here on my next trip to Venice. A hidden gem that deserves more recognition.

Staying at Hotel Cristallo was a fantastic experience overall. The value for money is excellent, and the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from major attractions and easy to access by public transport. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials we needed. While the carpet looked a bit worn and the towel rack near the shower was slightly damaged, neither issue affected our comfort or enjoyment. The hotel’s central position makes it ideal for exploring Venice on foot. Highly recommend this gem for travelers looking for a cozy, convenient stay in a beautiful city.

Staying at Residence la Fontaine was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful yet just a short 20-minute walk from the heart of Venice, including the main water taxi stop. There’s also a bus stop right outside on the main road, making it super quick to reach central areas in under 5 minutes. The apartment itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with comfortable beds, reliable air conditioning, and heating. I did miss having a toaster, but that’s a minor detail. The main bathroom has a bathtub with a shower attachment—no standalone shower—but since I prefer soaking baths, it wasn’t an issue for me. The en suite bathroom, however, does have a proper shower. Overall, the price is very reasonable for what you get. If you’re looking for a quiet, convenient, and well-kept place to stay in Venice, this is definitely worth considering.

My sister and I stayed at Villa Albertina for one night during the film festival, and it was an absolute delight. The hotel has such a unique charm and character—exactly the kind of place we love. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, creating a cozy atmosphere right away. A special thanks to the French lady at reception—she went above and beyond with her warm hospitality and gave us thoughtful recommendations on where to eat and explore. Her friendly personality truly made our short stay memorable. Located just a few minutes’ walk from a lovely beach and surrounded by great restaurants and shops, the location couldn’t be better. We’d happily return in a heartbeat. A perfect blend of comfort, character, and convenience.

Our stay at Al Soffiador was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and attention to detail made us feel right at home. The location is perfect—just a short walk from major attractions, with a quiet yet vibrant neighborhood vibe. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly clean, with a comfy bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Whether it was recommending local spots or assisting with travel tips, they were truly exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Venice. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the city.

The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from everything you’d want in Venice, and the quiet neighborhood makes it feel like a hidden gem. I loved that this place doesn’t come with all the extras like daily housekeeping or breakfast—ideal for travelers who prefer to keep things simple and self-managed. When I arrived, the room was already clean and tidy, and check-in was smooth and friendly. The room itself is cozy, well-maintained, and has a lovely view—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. No need to worry about noise or crowds either. It’s clear they focus on quality over quantity, and honestly, that’s exactly what made my stay so enjoyable. A great choice if you value peace, simplicity, and a real local vibe.

This resort is a perfect getaway for families looking to unwind in a relaxed, beachfront setting. The heated pool is a standout feature—ideal for year-round swimming, even in cooler months. While it's a bit removed from the city center, that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful and ideal for long seaside walks. The staff are warm and welcoming, adding to the overall charm. The furnishings are a little dated, and a gentle reminder about room cleaning would help, but honestly, these are minor points when you’re enjoying such a serene atmosphere. With its fantastic location, excellent amenities, and genuine hospitality, this is truly a 5-star experience. I’d happily return in a heartbeat—highly recommend for anyone seeking a quiet, authentic escape near Venice.

My wife Elife booked this guest house, and I just wanted to share how truly exceptional it was. We arrived from Bournemouth late Thursday evening—passed through passport control after 10:30 PM—and had to catch a water taxi to reach the property. Before our arrival, we exchanged emails with Alfonso, who gave us incredibly clear, step-by-step directions on how to get from the airport to the Biennale. The recommended route via water taxi worked perfectly. He specified exactly where to board (at the airport terminal), where to disembark (Lido, then St Elena), and even described key visual cues—like building colors—to help us navigate the final stretch. By 1 AM Friday, we finally arrived, completely exhausted, and headed straight to bed. That said, the room was quite cold upon entry, especially since temperatures dipped below freezing that night. Thankfully, extra blankets were provided—very much appreciated! The next morning, we let Alfonso know about the chill, and he promptly followed up. When we returned Friday evening, the room was warm and comfortable—proof of his genuine care for guests. The location is about a 30-minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, but the journey itself is pleasant, with plenty of charming streets and canals to explore along the way. One tip: if you’re able to walk a bit further, consider using the Arsenale water taxi stop—it’s only a 15-minute walk from the property and offers a more convenient access point from the airport and back. Overall, would we recommend this guest house? Absolutely. Alfonso is an outstanding host—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your stay enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning here on our next trip to Venice.

Had an absolutely perfect weekend at this hidden gem on the peaceful island of Sant'Erasmo. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere—no cars allowed, which made it feel like a true retreat from the city chaos. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The pizza was outstanding—crispy crust, perfectly cooked, with fresh ingredients that tasted amazing. Breakfast was equally impressive: a generous spread of local delicacies, freshly baked bread, and delicious pastries. Everything felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. This place offers peace, comfort, and excellent service—all in one. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a quiet escape with great food and charm.

What a perfect stay! My husband and I chose this charming B&B for our anniversary, and it exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful—just what we needed after a day of exploring Venice’s hidden corners. It's conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and local sights, yet far enough from the crowds to enjoy some real quiet. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful—they made us feel like family. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, homemade, and served with a smile. 10/10 in every way. We’re already planning our return trip just to come back here again. Truly unforgettable, thank you for such a magical experience!
