We stayed at Laguna724 during our visit to Venice and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Located just a short vaporetto ride from the Giardini park stop, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city without the noise and crowds of the main tourist areas. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt secure and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Check-in was seamless, and the platform reached out beforehand to confirm our arrival details, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, varied, and delicious. Special mention to the young staff member (I didn’t catch her name) who made what might be the best cappuccino I’ve had in all of Italy. Warm, rich, and perfectly balanced. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-located base with great hospitality and charm, Laguna724 is an absolute must-try. We’ll definitely be back.

The apartment’s location is fantastic—quiet yet perfectly positioned within easy reach of all major sights and water taxi stops. There are plenty of excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, making it ideal for breakfast. I highly recommend trying the croissants at Cafe Vero—they’re unforgettable and hard to miss in this area. The unit itself is spacious and modern, especially when compared to other small apartments or hotels in Venice. Having air conditioning is a real plus if you're visiting during summer months. We stayed in Canal View 2, one of three similar units on the second floor. Everything was great except for one issue: after a rainy day, water started dripping into the bedroom. It wasn’t a major flood, but it did require using towels and covers to manage the noise and prevent further mess. Fortunately, once the rain stopped, everything was fine. Before booking, it’s worth confirming that the roof issue has been addressed. Another downside was the number of rules only shared after booking. For example, disposing of trash requires taking it to a boat stop early in the morning—no easy task if you’re just here for a few days. Also, instructions for using the dishwasher felt overly complicated, especially if you’re not cooking regularly or staying more than a week. We didn’t throw out our waste because we were confused about the process (mostly paper and plastic), so we simply let them know. If you’re looking for a terrace, ask if that unit is available—it’s definitely a bonus for those who want extra outdoor space.

The bedding was comfortable, the amenities complete (kettle, mini-fridge, toaster), and there was ample storage for our belongings. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped with fresh linens and a hairdryer. Plus, the location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, making every sightseeing trip effortless.
