Unfortunately, the system didn’t allow us to merge the bookings, which meant we had to check out at noon on the first day and wait until 3 PM to recheck in—definitely inconvenient, especially with luggage in tow. However, the front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading our room at no extra cost, which made a big difference. The new room was larger and much more comfortable. While we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t speak to the quality of the buffet, the service attitude was consistently friendly and helpful. I asked the housekeeping staff and learned the hotel had undergone a full renovation, especially improving lighting throughout the corridors and rooms. The difference was remarkable—the space now feels bright, clean, and welcoming. The room was spotless, with excellent attention to hygiene. Even though it’s a windowless room, there was no stuffiness or unpleasant odor, making it very comfortable to stay in. Breakfast was satisfying and well-prepared, though I noticed it didn’t include natto, unlike some other Tango properties. Still, overall, the upgrade in ambiance, cleanliness, and service makes this a standout choice. Great location, excellent value, and a truly enjoyable stay—I’d definitely come back.

Staying at the City Suites Main Station was such a great upgrade from my previous branch visit—this location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the train station and right in the heart of Taipei. I’d just returned from Italy, so my luggage was a bit of a mess. When I arrived for check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful—they let me go straight to my room to sort out my bags and patiently waited while I changed into something more suitable for Taipei’s weather. Last time I didn’t book the Fuhang Soy Milk breakfast, but this time I gave it a try. It was still tasty, though maybe not quite as magical as I remembered—perhaps nostalgia played a trick on me! After staying in Chinese hotels with robot room service, I assumed that just answering the phone would trigger breakfast delivery. Turns out, you actually need to say a few words—lesson learned! One small note: the bathtub was quite slippery, and I ended up taking a fall. Definitely hope they can add some anti-slip measures soon. Overall, though, an excellent stay with great convenience and warm hospitality.
