This place exceeded all my expectations—it's a beautifully maintained and thoughtfully restored old mansion with so much character and charm. The Love Room is absolutely the highlight: it features a full 360-degree balcony that offers breathtaking views of the entire city lights at night, making every moment feel magical. What’s even better? The price is incredibly affordable—way below what you’d expect for such a unique experience. I’ve already come back multiple times just to stay here, and honestly, the value feels priceless. It’s located in a prime area surrounded by other great hotels and attractions, and walking distance to King Chef Restaurant and Route 55’s unlimited steak buffet—perfect for food lovers. Each room is well-designed, with the Love Room offering a private walk-in closet for ultimate comfort and privacy. There are also spacious options for groups of 4, 6, or even 8 guests, but the Love Room stands out as a truly special solo retreat. What makes this experience even more memorable is that the property is owned by a well-known local family who runs major hotels across the region—they’re generous and kind to open this gem to the public. Staying here isn’t just a hotel visit; it’s like living in a dreamy, private estate. Highly recommended!
Baguio Vacation House
Our stay at Baguio Vacation House was far from satisfactory despite seeing it advertised as a pet-friendly option in Baguio City. While the view from the veranda is undeniably scenic, the lack of secure barriers—just basic pot holders that can be easily moved by guests—posed a safety risk. The location is easy to find, situated on the second floor of TG Home Builders Building, but several issues overshadowed this convenience. The listing claimed pet-friendliness, yet we were charged 350 PHP per pet upon arrival—a surprise not mentioned in any ad. A 500 PHP refundable deposit was also required, plus full payment at check-in, none of which were disclosed upfront. Parking was a major headache: only three spots available, located right next to a garbage area, with vehicles parked bumper-to-bumper. If your car was at the back, staff repeatedly asked those in front to move, disrupting our plans to leave the car and use taxis for city tours. We ended up parking by the roadside since the nearby Total Gas Station parking was full too. No security personnel were seen during our entire stay, which felt unsafe. Breakfast wasn’t provided, and there was no bar or lounge area. The front desk staff were rude and struggled to handle payments correctly. The stairs are steep and dangerous—watching an elderly woman fall confirmed the broken aluminum railing is a real hazard. The entrance mat is also unstable and could cause trips. The bedding—especially the blanket—had a strange, unpleasant smell. We were kept awake until 1 a.m. due to loud footsteps and slamming doors late at night. To top it off, tissues and soap were not complimentary. Overall, the experience fell short in every aspect: transparency, comfort, safety, and hospitality. Despite the mountain view, the hidden fees, poor management, and lack of basic amenities make this a hard recommendation. Not suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed, reliable stay.

One small note: there was a sign in the elevator stating the pool was under maintenance, which confused us since we saw it was actually open and being used by a family when we arrived. It would be helpful if that notice were updated to reflect the current status. Overall, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. From the warm hospitality to the clean, comfortable accommodations, this place truly delivers on its promise. Highly recommend—it’s a gem in Baguio!

The pillows were yellowed, clearly used for years, and the bedding was old, frayed, and far from hygienic. To be honest, we were the only guests during our stay, which made me wonder how many others had already avoided this place. It’s peak season, yet the hotel felt abandoned. I hesitated to write this review because the staff were genuinely kind and friendly—working in such an environment must be tough. But honestly, if no urgent renovations and deep cleaning happen soon, this property could turn into a ghost hotel. Hope the owners take immediate action before it's too late.
