Even though the hotel has been open for ten years, everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The public areas are spotless, and the room itself had elegant decor with modern touches—every corner looked pristine, clearly cared for by a dedicated maintenance team. Breakfast was excellent: a great mix of Western and local flavors, including authentic Sichuan dishes like mapo tofu and kung pao chicken that brought the city’s taste right to my plate. We ended up canceling our original booking and extended our stay by three more nights. Plus, when we traveled to Dujiangyan or Jiuzhaigou, they happily stored our luggage. On our return, there was a mix-up with the room assignment, but the team handled it instantly—offering a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private hot tub. The rooftop beams and old-world architecture were absolutely stunning. Even better, staff went the extra mile by calling my previous hotel to arrange a panda plushie for me.
