While proper laundry detergent was provided, there was no dishwasher-safe soap included, which was a small inconvenience. Overall, the value for money is solid, especially for a central location. One minor suggestion: consider reversing the fridge door’s swing direction so it opens into the kitchen rather than toward the sleeping area. It’s an easy fix with basic tools and would significantly improve daily convenience. A thoughtful upgrade that makes a big difference.

While the bedroom window is quite small, the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding hills—worth every bit of the 5-star rating. I’d highly recommend staying here for 3 to 5 nights to truly soak in the vibe. A hidden gem with great value and charm.

One minor note: the shower enclosure in my room used a transparent partition, which might not suit guests who value privacy. A frosted or translucent material would have been preferable. Despite this small concern, the overall experience was outstanding. With its unbeatable location, excellent service, and thoughtful touches, this hotel delivers real value. I’d happily return.

He went above and beyond to help me with two issues involving the safe—both times he patiently assisted until everything was resolved. Even after I checked out, I had a package arrive late and couldn’t receive it. Instead of brushing me off, Mustapha shared his personal WhatsApp number so we could coordinate returning the item to the seller. That kind of dedication is rare, especially when you’re just passing through. I’ve stayed in many hotels across the world, but this level of genuine care hasn’t been seen in years. The attention to detail, warmth, and personal touch made all the difference. If you’re visiting Cape Town, this hotel deserves every bit of praise—it’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience.
