Staying at Vilar Oporto Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The included breakfast was outstanding—fresh, varied, and full of local flavors that made every morning a treat. What truly stood out? Free parking right in the city center—a rare gem in Porto! Most hotels here charge extra or don’t offer it at all. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the view from the window—perfectly framed views of the bridge, especially at sunset. The photo I shared was taken near the river, but the actual room and breakfast area are even higher up, offering an even more breathtaking panorama. With its unbeatable location, excellent value, and top-tier service, this hotel is a must-try for anyone visiting Porto.

Staying at ORM - Ribeira Apartments was an absolute highlight of our trip to Porto! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, steps away from restaurants, shops, and all the vibrant energy of the old town. We loved waking up to the sounds of street life from our balcony, feeling truly immersed in local life. At first, we were a bit concerned about noise disrupting our sleep, but once we closed the double doors and slept deeper into the apartment, it was surprisingly quiet. One thing we really appreciated was the espresso machine and coffee provided by the host—perfect for morning rituals that lasted the whole week. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished with a tasteful mix of modern and traditional touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights. A small note: there was a faint musty smell in the bathroom, and we missed a handy information booklet. We struggled to figure out how the shower worked at first, which was a bit frustrating. The most nerve-wracking moment came on a Sunday around 11 a.m.—we couldn’t get out through the front door. The building felt completely empty, and we realized we were locked in. It was scary, especially if it had been an emergency evacuation. Thankfully, we called the platform’s office, and they guided us to a third key hidden low down near the glass door, tucked just below eye level. We had to crawl on our knees to reach it! Definitely not something most guests would expect. Also, we weren’t clear where to take the trash—something that should’ve been in the info guide. Overall, this place has incredible potential. With clearer instructions and a few minor fixes, it’d be a flawless experience. Highly recommend for travelers who love authentic, central, and lively urban stays.

The only minor note is that the front desk isn’t always staffed in real time, but they provided a reliable alternative contact number, so I never felt left hanging. This little touch made all the difference. The location is great, the vibe is cozy and authentic, and the overall experience was outstanding. If I ever return to Porto, this will be my first choice. Highly recommend for travelers who value personal service and a home-away-from-home feel.

The central location and the detailed instructions provided upon arrival allowed us to make the most of our limited time in Porto. The photos truly matched what we found—no surprises, just exactly as pictured. The apartment is brand new, exceptionally well-equipped, and boasts a stunning view of the Douro River. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, from the modern furnishings to the high-quality finishes. We were absolutely delighted with the value for money—this was far beyond expectations. We’re already planning to return soon. What truly amazed us was spotting a video at the airport showing that 'Bnapartments Rio' had been selected among the top 20 architectural projects by the Portuguese Architects’ Association for its excellence in preservation and design quality. To stay in a space recognized for its craftsmanship and aesthetic integrity made the entire experience even more meaningful.

This place was absolutely perfect! During our six-day stay in Porto, we explored the city center thoroughly and found Miragaia House to be in the most ideal location we could have hoped for. The room was tastefully simple with a cozy charm—featuring a small kitchenette and fridge that made storing local delicacies like cheese, ham, and port wine incredibly convenient. While the street along the riverfront can get busy during the day, it was peaceful at night thanks to excellent double glazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep after a full day of sightseeing. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, yogurt, warm pastries, bread rolls, cured meats, cheeses, and eggs cooked exactly how you wanted them. Marta, Zuly, and their team were incredibly friendly and helpful—always ready to offer tips or assist with anything. We’ve already decided this is our go-to choice for Porto, and we’ll definitely be back!
Seventyset Flats - Porto Historical Center
We absolutely loved our week-long stay at this fantastic apartment in the heart of Porto’s historic district. We were on the top floor, which offered breathtaking views of the city and surrounding areas. The mezzanine bedroom overlooking the living space was a real highlight—cozy and unique. Located just steps from where the tram picks up passengers heading to Foz Beach, we found it super convenient for exploring. Most major attractions and great dining spots were within a 15-20 minute walk, making it easy to enjoy the city on foot. The air conditioning kept the apartment cool and comfortable throughout our visit, and we appreciated the little welcome tray with snacks and drinks upon arrival—perfect for settling in without rushing out right away. The only minor downside is that many nearby destinations require a bit of uphill walking, but there are plenty of bus options just outside the building, including sightseeing buses, so getting around is still very easy. Overall, an excellent choice with great value and a prime location.
