The room itself was immaculate, and being just steps away from both bus stops and the subway made getting around Hamburg super easy. The stay at Hotel Hafentor was absolutely excellent overall. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the subway and surrounded by great restaurants and local sights. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and well-prepared with a wide variety of options. The only minor downside was the stairs, as the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor, which meant we had to climb one more flight for our fifth-floor room. It was a bit inconvenient, but not enough to take away from the experience. All in all, this hotel offers outstanding value, great service, and a charming atmosphere. I’d definitely book again.
