Staying at Xinghai Owl Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Xi'an Road shopping district, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing worked really well—no noise from the hallway or street at all. I especially appreciated the variety of room types, including movie rooms and gaming rooms, which made the stay even more fun, especially with friends or family. There are several malls nearby, plus the Central Avenue food street and Jiaotong University’s own local eats—so many great options within walking distance. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, whether you're traveling for leisure or on a business trip. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Despite being from out of town, we felt genuinely welcomed, almost like family. The location is fantastic: right next to a small convenience store, a fresh fruit stand, a pharmacy, and plenty of local snack shops. It’s also just a short walk to the subway station, making it super easy to explore the city. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place offers great value and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Dalian.

Even though it used to be a HanTing, the place has been completely rebranded with a fun kangaroo theme—everywhere you look, there are cute kangaroo stickers replacing the old signage. What really stood out? The cleanliness—it's easily the cleanest airport hotel I've stayed at. But the real surprise was the soundproofing: close the window and you're in total silence. No traffic noise, no plane engines—just peace. Double-pane windows make all the difference. And the owner offers free shuttle service to the airport anytime, which is incredibly convenient for business travelers. It’s rare to find such great value so close to the airport. If I’m ever back in Dalian, this will be my go-to choice.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times during my visits to Dalian, and it consistently delivers a fantastic experience. While the room is on the smaller side, the bed quality is absolutely outstanding for the price—truly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on, and it’s definitely the one I remember most from all my stays. The location is perfect—right next to Xi’an Road Metro Station, making travel around the city super convenient. Nearby, you’ll find great local eats like Cao’s and cold noodles—delicious and easy to grab for a quick bite. Ordering food delivery is also effortless since there are plenty of options just steps away. The cleanliness is top-notch—everything is spotless and well-maintained. The staff, especially the front desk team, are incredibly friendly and attentive. They greet you warmly upon arrival and departure, respect your privacy, and quickly assist with any needs. It’s clear they care about guest comfort. This place truly stands out for its excellent value, service, and overall vibe. Definitely coming back.

I stayed here for four nights and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Malan Square Subway Station, making it super easy to explore downtown Dalian. Right across the street is a fresh seafood market, so I was able to buy local catches and have them cooked at nearby restaurants—a real highlight! The room isn’t huge, but it’s well-designed and cozy for two people. I slept really well every night, and the overall atmosphere felt clean and peaceful. Housekeeping was outstanding—staff came in daily, cleaned thoroughly, and even neatly folded my clothes. The lobby is spacious and comfortable, perfect for waiting in the lounge while calling a taxi. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly, speaking softly and attentively. Baggage storage was convenient and reliable. While there’s no full-length mirror in the room, there’s one in the elevator, which works just fine. Overall, this hotel delivers great value, comfort, and service. I’ll definitely book here again on my next trip to Dalian.
