Our room was beautifully designed, cozy, and full of character, making it feel like a true home away from home. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and attention to detail—always friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, and my daughter raved about the matcha latte, calling it one of the best in the city. A small note: the hotel is in a historic building, so the stairs are quite steep and there’s no elevator—but we were aware of this beforehand, so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We’d recommend it 200% and already know exactly where we’ll stay next time we visit Amsterdam.

Crown Guesthouse Amsterdam

My stay at Crown Guesthouse Amsterdam was absolutely wonderful! The location is fantastic—just a short metro ride from the city center, with plenty of great dining options nearby. The room was clean, cozy, and felt like home from the moment we walked in. Angelo, the host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful—he gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations that made our trip even better. The only minor hiccup was that Netflix didn’t work on the TV, but since we were out exploring most of the time, it wasn’t an issue for us. If you're planning to stay in and watch movies, you might want to double-check the streaming setup. Still, we were sad to leave. Tribe Amsterdam City

This was hands down the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my European trip. The place feels brand new, with spacious rooms that make you feel instantly relaxed. It’s just two tram stops from Amsterdam Central Station—get off at Nord, which is the final stop—and it’s only a 3-minute walk to the hotel. Perfectly located for a quiet escape from the busy city center while still being super accessible. Check-in was handled by MIKA, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d actually had trouble exiting the station earlier, but he quickly explained that scanning the Eurostar QR code would solve it. When I left, I was nervous—but sure enough, one scan and I was through. Huge thanks to MIKA! The breakfast was exceptional too. That coffee? The milk foam was so rich and velvety, it might be the best cup I’ve had anywhere in Europe. I even tried making waffles myself—fun and delicious! The room’s tea and coffee station was well stocked with capsules, tea bags, and everything else you’d need, and they were always refilled promptly. If I ever return to Amsterdam, this hotel would be my top pick without hesitation.
