This was our first trip to Tianjin with two young kids, and staying at Pan Pacific Tianjin exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly—our children received a cute New Year gift charm at the entrance. The room upgrade to executive level was a delightful surprise, offering plenty of space and comfort for our family. On day one, we were just settling in, but by day two, we truly appreciated how well-located this hotel is. Walking along the Haihe River was effortless—just a short stroll to the iconic Tianjin Eye, with scenic views the whole way. Taxis to popular attractions cost only around 10–15 RMB each, making exploration super affordable and convenient. Back at the hotel, housekeeping went above and beyond—the room was spotless, and they even provided thoughtful baby essentials. A handwritten note with care tips made the stay feel personal and warm. Traveling with little ones can be stressful, but this hotel made it so much easier. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stood out. We’re already planning to return—truly a standout experience.

Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin

Even though it's not a brand-new property, Shangri-La still delivers the reliable luxury I've come to expect. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of space—especially the executive suite, which had a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa that could easily double as a guest bed. The view from the suite was impressive, offering a great outlook over the city skyline. One of the highlights was access to the Executive Lounge. While the happy hour offerings weren’t extensive, the selection was solid—great for grabbing a bite and a drink after a long day. Overall, the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service, comfort, and attention to detail all reflect the high standards this hotel is known for. Definitely a top-tier choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Grand View Hotel

Staying at Grand View Hotel in Tianjin was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Xihu Road Snack Street for some delicious local eats, and it’s super convenient for visiting Nankai University and Tianjin University. A quick taxi ride takes you to Tianjin Eye and the Ancient Culture Street in just 10–15 minutes. The breakfast spread is outstanding—plenty of hot Western and Chinese dishes, fresh fruits, pastries, and even authentic local favorites like jianbing and wonton soup, all made with great taste and freshness. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and went the extra mile by offering personalized family-friendly travel tips. Free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and parking was easy to access. Whether traveling with kids or on business, this hotel truly checks every box. It’s already on my must-stay list for future trips to Tianjin—I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside was an absolute delight! While the 'Xuan Ying Photography Experience' wasn't available during our visit, everything else more than made up for it. The complimentary minibar was fantastic—well-stocked with quality drinks and snacks, a real highlight. We used the 90% discount at Baiyun Chinese Restaurant, and while the food was solid and traditional, it delivered exactly what we expected. The pool area is beautifully designed and well-maintained, with excellent facilities that make it perfect for relaxing. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout—no issues at all. But the real showstopper? The view of the Ferris wheel at night—it’s breathtaking. The lights sparkle across the river, creating a romantic and unforgettable atmosphere. And the service? Outstanding. Manager Tian Bing was especially attentive and welcoming, going out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. From start to finish, this place exceeded expectations. A truly memorable experience with incredible value—definitely coming back.

Coming to Tianjin for two main reasons: catching some local xiangsheng comedy and checking out the famous Xibei Jiao breakfast street — both lived up to expectations, with amazing performances and delicious food. The hotel is located right in the bustling Aqua City area, surrounded by vibrant street life and authentic city energy. The staff went above and beyond — especially Manager Xiao Meng at reception, who gave us great tips on photo spots and even helped us explore Jin Street, including the fun tradition of stepping on copper coins. Our room was upgraded without any extra cost, and it’s spacious, bright, and beautifully lit. Everything about this stay felt genuine and thoughtful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tianjin — I’d definitely come back.

Staff were attentive and always ready to help, making the entire experience seamless. Location-wise, it’s perfect—right in the heart of the shopping district with a metro station just steps away. Great for dining and exploring. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel was wonderfully quiet at night, so I slept through the whole evening without disturbance. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a 200-meter walk to Rongneng Mall, and the mall connects directly to the subway station, so getting around is super convenient without stepping outside. Nearby highlights include a high-end Gu Li Bao restaurant (a must-try for authentic local flavors) and Guiyuan Restaurant, which served delicious meals with great ambiance. Overall, this hotel delivers luxury, comfort, and convenience in one package. Great for business travelers or families looking for a premium stay in Tianjin.
