My stay at Hotel Riverview Taipei was absolutely enjoyable from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—every interaction felt genuine and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hotel is immaculately clean, both in public areas and the room itself, which added greatly to the overall comfort. While some of the furnishings show a bit of age and could use a refresh, everything still functions well and remains comfortable for everyday use. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and all essentials were in good condition. With just a little upgrade on the room equipment—especially in the bathroom and electronics—the experience would be even more outstanding. As it stands, this is a fantastic choice for travelers looking for a quiet, clean, and well-located hotel in Taipei. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in town again.

Stayed from Thursday to Saturday and couldn’t be happier with the value for money. Located just steps away from Ximending, it’s super convenient for exploring the area—just a short walk or quick subway ride away. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Cleanliness was impressive too—though handled by an external company, everything felt fresh and well-maintained. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy spot where you can grab drinks and light snacks, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. What really stood out was the triple room: it came with a bathtub and a bidet toilet—something rare at this price point! Despite being budget-friendly, the building is modern and not in an old structure, so the overall feel was clean, bright, and welcoming. For the cost, the quality here is outstanding. Definitely coming back if we’re ever in Taipei.

The room isn’t huge, but it comfortably fits two double beds and has ample space for luggage. Air conditioning works like a charm with adjustable temperature control—crisp and cool during summer nights. The fridge is impressively cold—our soda froze in minutes! That’s a big win for those who love icy drinks. The bathroom offers strong hot water pressure, and there's a quality Panasonic hairdryer. Daily housekeeping is excellent: fresh linens, new towels, four bottles of water, and replenished toiletries every day. The bathroom was particularly impressive—spotless and thoughtfully designed. Despite its age, the property offers a comfortable, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Taipei.

I stayed at Muzik Hotel Ximen Station Branch for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in smooth and welcoming. Room amenities were in good condition—great to find both Hong Kong-style three-prong outlets and local sockets, so I didn’t have to pack extra adapters. The bathroom came with towels, a cup, shampoo, and shower gel, but items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, cotton swabs, and slippers were not provided—something to keep in mind if you’re traveling light. One minor note: after a long day out, I noticed a faint odor in the restroom upon return, possibly due to ventilation. However, it wasn’t overwhelming, and the room was otherwise clean and well-maintained. The location is unbeatable—just steps from Ximending’s bustling streets, with great access to public transit, dining, and shopping. For the price, this is excellent value, and I’d definitely stay here again.
