Staying at Amba Taipei Ximending was such a great choice—being just steps away from Ximending makes exploring the area so convenient. The neighborhood is lively, packed with shops, street food, and great vibes. The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially the fresh rice balls and fried eggs—simple but satisfying. While I personally prefer the style of the Songshan branch, this location really shines for its unbeatable convenience. One thing to note: if you drive, parking fees are not included and you’ll need to arrange that on your own. However, both the Eslite and Emei parking lots are super close—no hassle at all. Overall, it’s a fantastic stay with excellent value, and I’d definitely book again.

The shower space is generous and well-designed. Bonus: the hotel offers free garment pressing, which made getting ready for events so much easier. Everything from check-in to checkout felt smooth and thoughtful. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and value—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Taipei.

Even on hot summer days, the lobby’s air conditioning kept things cool and comfortable, and I appreciated that umbrellas were available at the entrance for unexpected showers—such a thoughtful touch. Although I overslept and missed breakfast, I heard the front desk can arrange orders for Fuhang Soy Milk upon request, which is a nice added service. The room had one major drawback: no USB charging port near the bed, so I had to rely on wall outlets. Also, the bathroom lacked any hooks or towel bars—making it awkward to hang towels after washing up. Toothbrushes and razors are not provided (available at the front desk for NT$15), so be sure to bring your own. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was excellent—the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the location makes exploring Taipei effortless. Highly recommend for travelers who value comfort and convenience.

Air conditioning works like a charm with adjustable temperature control—crisp and cool during summer nights. The fridge is impressively cold—our soda froze in minutes! That’s a big win for those who love icy drinks. The bathroom offers strong hot water pressure, and there's a quality Panasonic hairdryer. Daily housekeeping is excellent: fresh linens, new towels, four bottles of water, and replenished toiletries every day.
