Staying at Amba Taipei Ximending was such a great choice—being just steps away from Ximending makes exploring the area so convenient. The neighborhood is lively, packed with shops, street food, and great vibes. The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially the fresh rice balls and fried eggs—simple but satisfying. While I personally prefer the style of the Songshan branch, this location really shines for its unbeatable convenience. One thing to note: if you drive, parking fees are not included and you’ll need to arrange that on your own. However, both the Eslite and Emei parking lots are super close—no hassle at all. Overall, it’s a fantastic stay with excellent value, and I’d definitely book again.

Stayed from Thursday to Saturday and couldn’t be happier with the value for money. Located just steps away from Ximending, it’s super convenient for exploring the area—just a short walk or quick subway ride away. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Cleanliness was impressive too—though handled by an external company, everything felt fresh and well-maintained. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy spot where you can grab drinks and light snacks, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. What really stood out was the triple room: it came with a bathtub and a bidet toilet—something rare at this price point! Despite being budget-friendly, the building is modern and not in an old structure, so the overall feel was clean, bright, and welcoming. For the cost, the quality here is outstanding. Despite its age, the location, cleanliness, and value make this a solid choice for budget-friendly stays in Taipei.

Air conditioning works like a charm with adjustable temperature control—crisp and cool during summer nights. The fridge is impressively cold—our soda froze in minutes!
