I’d been wanting to stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei for a while, mainly because my travel group consisted of three people who all wanted individual beds and a single room. I was a bit hesitant at first since most of the online reviews were from 2017–2018, but once I arrived, I completely changed my mind—this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ambiance is incredibly luxurious, and the overall quality is top-notch. The room was much bigger than the photos suggested, offering plenty of space and a really comfortable feel. From the moment we walked in, the bell staff and front desk team were welcoming and professional—every interaction was pleasant. The signature fragrance and premium toiletries added that extra touch of sophistication. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that none of the four-room options had views of Taipei 101 (which was part of our original shortlist), but after seeing the room in person, I didn’t care about the view at all—the condition, cleanliness, and comfort were just too good. During our 3-night stay, we only encountered one other Korean guest (in the elevator!), and the breakfast area and pool were mostly filled with European travelers, giving it a very international vibe. What stood out the most was how the hotel proactively sent us a confirmation email after booking to confirm our schedule—something many 5-star hotels don’t do. It made planning so much easier and gave me peace of mind. Overall, this trip was enjoyable and stress-free thanks to the excellent service. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

As a longtime fan of the brand, we were thrilled by the diverse dining options—especially the Chinese restaurant (Han She Shu Pu) and the buffet’s signature beef noodle soup, which tasted like home. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a stunning view of Taipei’s skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always smiling and ready to help. Located near several shopping malls and cinemas, the hotel is also steps away from some of the best local street food spots, including Xiao Nan Men Douhua and Chun Shui Tang, where we enjoyed authentic Taiwanese treats. Everything about this stay felt special—from the elegant ambiance to the thoughtful touches. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei!

Staying at Fullon Hotel Taipei Central was an absolute delight! The hotel offers a spacious and free indoor parking lot—huge plus for travelers driving in. The room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. I especially loved the sauna—it felt luxurious with its smooth, warm water that really soothed my muscles. Right across the street is JianGuo Flower Market, perfect for a relaxing stroll or picking up some fresh blooms. Unfortunately, it rained during my visit, so I missed trying out the pool—but it’s definitely on my list for next time. With such a great location, excellent amenities, and outstanding value, I’d absolutely book here again when I return to Taipei.

I especially appreciated the attention to detail in every dish. The only small downside was the hot water in the bathtub—not hot enough for a proper soak, but honestly, that’s a tiny nitpick. Overall, this hotel delivers incredible value and comfort. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious and well-appointed, with all amenities provided except for toothbrushes (which I brought myself). Everything else—from toiletries to bedding—was fresh and high quality. Check-in was smooth, and they only asked for a NT$1,000 deposit, which can be paid in cash or by card. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and I appreciated that passport holders could check in without any hassle. I also opted to upgrade to breakfast for about NT$580—a great value! The breakfast spread was impressive: warm dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee options. Overall, this hotel offers excellent comfort, convenience, and service. With such a prime location and top-tier hospitality, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei. A truly memorable stay.
