I really appreciated the privacy here—perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay. The room stood out with its classy touches, especially the mirror accents that added a nice modern flair. While the location is somewhat mixed—close to the city center but not right in the heart of things—it’s actually ideal if you’re planning a private gathering or event. The food was solid, nothing too special but satisfying (7/10). Rooms were comfortable and well-designed (8/10), and amenities were functional though not overly impressive (7/10). Overall, the experience was excellent for the price point—great value, great vibe, and definitely worth returning to.

We loved having access to the beautiful garden and pool area throughout our stay—it was peaceful, well-maintained, and ideal for unwinding. Throughout the day, hot tea and coffee were always available when we needed them, which felt like such a thoughtful gesture. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic in sharing recommendations and ideas for exploring Joburg and the surrounding areas. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered hidden gems, enjoyed memorable outings, and even met our son’s friends during our visit. What stood out most was how easy it was to reconnect with them each evening—just a few friendly chats about our day made the whole trip feel personal and comforting. Breakfast is simple but satisfying—definitely better than many post-pandemic hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced in the U.S., with fresh ingredients and decent variety. Our team attended a lubrication engineering course at CedarWoods of Sandton from February 19 to 23, 2024, and the entire experience was outstanding. The venue offered a comfortable and professional environment with excellent facilities, making it ideal for training sessions. The food was fantastic—especially the lunches, which were both delicious and well-prepared, keeping everyone energized throughout the week. The staff went above and beyond, always friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. From check-in to daily support, their dedication made a real difference. All delegates left feeling satisfied and well taken care of. It’s clear this hotel truly values guest experience, and we’ll definitely consider returning for future events.

The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Even though it’s a bit off the beaten path, getting into the city center via public transit took less than 30 minutes. It’s rare to find such a peaceful yet well-connected place. For the price, this is an unbeatable value. 10/10 without hesitation—I’ll definitely be back!
