White Swan Hotel

Staying in the executive suite was an absolute delight. The room was spacious with a clear separation between the living and sleeping areas, offering a real sense of privacy. Everything was brand new and well-maintained—especially the bathroom with its efficient dry-wet separation and instant hot water. The executive lounge served excellent afternoon tea and evening snacks, both in quality and presentation. Despite being near the airport, we could hear planes overhead while walking outside, but inside the room, it was completely silent thanks to outstanding soundproofing. The view from the window was wide open, and natural light filled the entire space—really bright and welcoming. Attention to detail was top-notch, and the value for money truly exceeded expectations. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

Staying at City Join Hotel was an absolute delight. Nearby universities like Jinan University and South China Normal University are just a short walk away, perfect for academic visitors or students. Upon check-in, the front desk generously upgraded us to a larger room—no extra charge! We also appreciated the free self-service laundry and the excellent breakfast buffet offering both Western and Chinese options. Clean, convenient, and well thought out—this is definitely a top choice for business travelers and visiting scholars alike.

This was my second stay at Leeden Hotel Guangzhou, and I chose it this time specifically for a visa appointment at the embassy. One of the highlights was the robot delivering my takeout straight to my door—just make sure to include your room number when ordering, or it might get sent to the wrong place. Free laundry and drying service is such a convenient bonus, especially during busy travel days. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with plenty of variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and I even appreciated the follow-up courtesy from the safety team—it really made me feel valued. Staying at Hidden House Hotel was an absolute delight. The room was immaculate and warmly inviting—perfect for when the weather turned chilly in Guangdong. I slept like a baby thanks to excellent soundproofing, which is a huge win for light sleepers. While the space isn’t huge, the quality and attention to detail felt far beyond a standard hotel—certainly on par with, if not better than, some older five-star properties I’ve stayed at. The staff were attentive without being intrusive—always ready to help but never overbearing. The minimalist, elegant exterior blends seamlessly into the neighborhood, giving it a quiet, boutique vibe. Location-wise, it’s ideal if you’re relying on public transit—the Changgang Metro Station is just a short walk away, and you’re steps from Haizhu Square and major roads. If you're driving, navigating in and out of the residential area can be tricky, but the hotel does offer parking. I missed breakfast due to oversleeping, but my friend said it was delicious—definitely worth trying next time. Overall, this was one of the most satisfying stays I’ve had in Guangzhou. I’ll definitely be back.
