Staying at this youth hostel was a fantastic experience, especially for budget travelers like me. The price was incredibly affordable—so much so that I ended up extending my stay by a few extra days! Located just minutes from Dong Station and Bujii, it's super convenient for getting around Shenzhen via metro. The surrounding area has plenty of dining options and daily necessities, making it very livable. The dorms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to pay a bit more attention to hygiene in shared spaces and bathrooms—small improvements could make a big difference. Overall, this place offers amazing value for money and is definitely on my list for future trips to Shenzhen.

Staying at Qicheng Hotel in Buji, Shenzhen, was a fantastic experience overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Its location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the Buji shopping district, surrounded by great local food options and multiple metro lines just steps away. It's only a 300-meter walk to Shenzhen East Railway Station, making travel super convenient. The only downside was that the front desk staff didn’t issue an invoice during check-in, and I still haven’t received it. Hopefully the management can sort this out soon. Despite that small hiccup, the value for money and overall comfort made this stay highly recommended.
Yixuan Hotel (Shenzhen East Railway Station Buji Old Street)
The overall experience was very positive, especially given the convenient location near Shenzhen East Railway Station—super easy to get there by metro. However, upon check-in, I was assigned to a lower-floor room facing a residential building, and the window overlooked numerous air conditioning units, which made quite a bit of noise throughout the night. Also, the hotel didn’t provide disposable slippers, so I had to bring my own. The bathroom had a slight odor that could be improved. That said, the ability to enjoy a free late check-out was a real highlight—perfect for travelers with a more relaxed schedule. Despite the minor drawbacks, the value for money is excellent, and I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a no-frills, practical stay in the area.
