I had an amazing stay at Chau Apartments! The location is incredibly convenient—just a short ride away from Ben Thanh Market and Takashimaya Vietnam. I used Grab Bike to get around, and it was fast and hassle-free. There are 7-Eleven and GS25 convenience stores right nearby, so grabbing snacks or essentials is super easy. The apartment itself is well-equipped with a free pool and Netflix access—perfect for relaxing after a busy day of exploring. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. This place offers excellent value and made my trip to Ho Chi Minh City truly enjoyable. I’d definitely book again and recommend it to fellow travelers.

The apartment itself is fantastic — spacious with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for a family or group of friends. The pool and gym are great amenities and well-maintained. However, the communication and on-site support were a major letdown. I reached out multiple times before arrival regarding early check-in and luggage storage, but nothing was prepared when we arrived. There’s no front desk or reception staff on site — just security who weren’t helpful and seemed unapproachable. We waited over three hours just to get checked in, and during that time, it felt like we might have been scammed because we couldn’t reach anyone. After staying for four nights, we wanted to leave some bags behind briefly, but were denied even a short window. It’s disappointing given how good the unit is. That said, once you’re inside, the space is definitely worth it. I’d still recommend this place if you’re okay with handling everything independently. Just plan ahead: don’t expect early check-ins, and be ready to manage your own luggage after checkout. Clear communication upfront can save a lot of stress.

After just three nights, we’d had enough and decided to check out early—our deposit was refunded, though we only received compensation for one night. The apartment itself was small and worn, clearly in need of a fresh paint job. The kitchen was nearly empty—basic breakfast prep might be possible, but dinner preparation was impractical without essentials like salt, pepper, cooking oil, or bottled water. There were no bed linens beyond a pillow and a thin padded sheet. That said, the location in District 7 is convenient, and the building is clean with a nice modern feel. It’s a shame the interior experience fell so far short of expectations, especially given the price point.
