Staying at Park Plaza Vondelpark Amsterdam was a truly pleasant experience. Nestled in a quiet corner of Vondelpark, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat right in the heart of Amsterdam. It’s just a short walk to Museumplein, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. While traffic can get a bit busy near the entrance during the day, it doesn’t detract from the overall comfort. The rooms are clean, quiet, and well-maintained—perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast options were limited, but everything was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, welcoming attitude. We booked two rooms for our family trip with two teenage and adult sons, and had zero complaints. Great value, excellent location, and top-notch hospitality—this is definitely a place I’d return to.

We absolutely loved our stay at Amsterdam Farm Lodge! It’s such a beautiful, peaceful retreat surrounded by greenery, birdsong, and free-ranging chickens that wander around happily. The lodge is immaculately kept—clean, cozy, and stylishly decorated with attention to detail and a strong focus on sustainability. The atmosphere feels warm and personal from the moment you arrive. Nicole and Rogier are incredibly kind and helpful; they truly go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. You can tell this place is run with love—from the fresh eggs delivered daily to the pesticide-free yard. Location-wise, it’s perfect: tucked away in nature yet just minutes from central Amsterdam by public transit. What a unique find in Amsterdam! Located in the city's financial district, this hotel stands out from the typical downtown options. I was actually searching for something near Amsterdam Zuid, but ended up loving how accessible this place is via public transit. The lobby offers complimentary tea — a nice touch to start or end your day. Right outside, there’s a large supermarket and a decent food court with great Asian cuisine options. Plus, the room was surprisingly spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, it’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for convenience, comfort, and a bit of a different vibe in Amsterdam.

Absolutely outstanding value—this is definitely a place I’ll be returning to on future trips to Amsterdam. The space was truly impressive; we were blown away by how roomy the apartment felt, especially for a city center location. Everything you need for cooking and laundry is provided, making it very convenient for longer stays. The location is excellent—close to everything without being overwhelmed by noise or traffic. We had zero issues with disturbances throughout our stay. A few helpful tips: if the pigeons on the rooftop are loud, try opening and closing the window blinds a few times—they usually scatter and don’t return for quite a while. On hot days, the built-in fans were a lifesaver. We found that propping open the downstairs door with the strongest fan blowing upward, combined with keeping living area doors open during cooler morning and evening hours, created a natural cross-breeze that made the whole space feel refreshingly comfortable. It’s rare to find such a well-thought-out, practical, and cozy home in a vibrant city like Amsterdam—highly recommend!

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—right next to a stunning windmill that makes for a perfect photo spot. It's just a short walk from a grocery store, which was super convenient for grabbing essentials. Only about 3 kilometers from the city center, it’s easy to get around by tram or taxi. I was a bit surprised to find a cemetery nearby, but honestly, it adds to the serene atmosphere rather than being distracting—everything feels quiet and well-maintained. The rooms are stylish, clean, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and relaxed. This place truly offers an exceptional experience with great value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—exactly what we were looking for. While it’s a short walk to some restaurants and main attractions, the location is still very convenient overall, with most of Amsterdam’s highlights within easy reach. The host was super accommodating by meeting us early at the unit so we could drop off our luggage and start exploring before check-in time—a real plus. I did have a bit of trouble folding up the sofa bed initially, but the host noticed and adjusted it on the first day while we were out. I didn’t follow up for help the second day, but it was reassuring to know she was attentive and proactive. Overall, a great stay with a personal touch.

Staying at this charming property right on one of Amsterdam’s iconic bridges was a unique experience—its architecture is truly stunning and the location offers a special vibe. However, there are some practical drawbacks worth noting. The room is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase, so bringing large suitcases isn’t ideal. Also, being directly on a tram line means early morning noise from passing trains and bright sunlight flooding in through the windows, as the blinds don’t block out light effectively. While these were manageable for us, the real disappointment came this morning when two workers arrived at 8:30 AM to start roof repairs—including reasphalting the entire roof. At that hour, guests were still packing up or enjoying breakfast, and having construction work begin so early felt intrusive and disrespectful. It’s one thing to have maintenance done, but doing it at 8:30 AM, just hours after most travelers check out, crosses a line. The overall charm of the building can’t make up for such poor timing and lack of consideration. While the setting is fantastic, the guest experience suffered significantly due to the noise and disruption. Not something I’d recommend if you value peace and quiet during your stay.
