The stay was enjoyable overall. Despite the nearby train sounds, we slept well thanks to the good room insulation. We took a bus from Kensal House to Ladbroke Grove and then transferred to the underground—very convenient for getting around London. The bus stop is just a quick climb of stairs away, making access easy. On our return in the evening, we found a smaller Sainsbury’s right next to Ladbroke Grove station, open until 11 PM, which was perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. The location is excellent, with great transport links and a practical convenience store nearby. It's a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and connectivity.

Chocolate shortbread—simple but unforgettable. That said, standard rooms are quite small; fitting two adults and two large suitcases left little room to move around. Bathrooms feel dated in design and fixtures, though they’re clean and functional. You can ask almost anything of your housekeeper—they’ll help with luggage packing, local tips, or even last-minute requests. The location is unbeatable: directly opposite Buckingham Palace stables.
